gaekwad2
The Powershot A series cameras are quite a bit bigger, yes. The Ixus 850IS has 28mm wideangle but unfortunately suffers from very soft corners. The Panasonic FX07 or FX50 would be a better choice imo. If you don't need strong wideangle and shoot primarily outdoors I'd also recommend the Ixus 800IS. For indoor shots I'd go with the Fuji F20. Pink Floyd Veteran Posted June 11, 2007 Veteran Share Posted June 11, 2007 if you want something smaller, you can also look at Nikon S serie Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/566405-find-a-camera-for-me/#findComment-588617448 Share on other sites
Brian M. Veteran Posted June 11, 2007 Veteran Share Posted June 11, 2007 if you want something smaller, you can also look at Nikon S serie +1, they're great little cameras. I've got a Nikon S7C and its great (unless you need decent zooming features, then look elsewhere). It does have built in wifi though, which is a bonus. Lasker
I have a HP Photosmart R927 and I am very impressed with the 3inch LCD screen, 8.2 megapixels and the performance is very good. n3rd 2.0
I have a HP Photosmart R927 and I am very impressed with the 3inch LCD screen, 8.2 megapixels and the performance is very good. I paid $195 dollars in amazon.com I also have an hp PhotoSmart R927 camera and I really love it. It has all the manual functions (exposure, aperture, etc.) of a SLR camera, but without the bulk or price. The 3 inch screen and 8.2 megapixel resolution are a great bonus. I highly recommend it as a beginning camera to grow into or as an advanced camera for someone just under the SLR level. Elliot B.
Has anyone had any experience with Fujifilm FinePix F40fd or Canon IXUS 75 Digital Camera ? I have a Fujifilm FinePix F40fd and it seems fine but I don't know how it compares to other cameras. I know it's one of the better ones for the money, though.
