I really love the skin and it made me switch from wmp to foobar directly when I saw it but It's the first time I'm using foobar hence the noob question.

Again, WONDERFUL work, dawxxx666!

Click at button to the right of your playback order. (which in your pic are saying "shuffle")

Victory!! A last, I found how to remove individual tracks or an entire playlist. That's done simply by clicking the upper left button that opens an options menu. There it is!

However, I still haven't managed to change the order of a track in a playlist... Please help!

If you use foobar 0.9.5 (lastest version) I remember that keyboard shortcut are remove by default. Just go set it in preference to something more commonly use. like "delete" to remove select item from playlist. Alt+a to "select all" ETC.

"change the order of a track in a playlist" Drag & Drop doesn't work? panel ui 14.12 support this.

Thx for the help! But now I see this :( Weird.

EDIT: Hehe sry for my noob questions :blush: I solved my problem...I feel a little stupid :)

EDIT2: Now I'm just wondering how I can get the foobar tray icon to show what's currently playing when I move my mouse over it instead of just "foobar2000"? :)

Go to preference > panel UI > edit layout

Find the line " // PerTrack " and put this below it. (not behind)

$settray(%title%)

however, there is a known bug in panel UI that tray status won't update if you minimize your window. so it may not work the way you want it.

Ok Thanks for the help :) it seems to be working now. And thanks again dawxxx666 for the great skin!

Hey great skin it finally got me to switch from Winamp to Foobar, but I'm having a problem with the album list tab. Last night I was playing around with it and it started out like this

72h7y1e.jpg

And it just kind of fixed itself to where the album list tab matched everything else with buttons I could sort by album/artist/year/genre/etc.

Then I uninstalled it to try another config I wanted but couldn't get to work so I went back to yours this morning and now my album list is stuck looking like it is in the picture and it looks really bad.

Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

To Akir :

If I understand you correctly. go to FooAvA popup setting (the button at the lower right) go to setting 2 and choose "Libraly filter" instead of "album list"

Hope that's help.

Oh. and later, you don't have to uninstall old foobar to use new config. just put config folder to "PanelsUI" folder in foobar directory. and change your config in foobar preference > panel ui > layout dropdown box.

you can have 10 configs that you can change at will if you want to. :)

I have question about my Ava 1.03+. It works perfectly fine, but I try to make it refresh track info. It's updated only when track is started/paused or when I turn info off/on. How can I update bitrate info every sec?

Hope you'll understand my english ;-)

Edit: I found this code in the end of DAWXXX666_AVA_1.03+.pui file:

function on_playback_new_track(info){

window.Repaint();

}

(...)

function on_playback_dynamic_info(){

}

function on_playback_dynamic_info_track(){

}

Maybe my problem is connected to those lines, but I can't edit this file. When I save it with Windows Notepad (even if I don't make any changes!) and turn foobar on, ava simply don't work. :hmmm:

PS. Daxx świetna robota z tą sk?rką:))

Whoa.. everything looks totally different!

Kache, looks like the only way to move it is click/dragging on the very right side of the window.

And, reminder to everyone to backup their configs before you mess around :]

edit:

fooled around a bit, and my foobar keeps crashing because of Lyrics Show component. They just released a new version 3 days ago (0.3.2.1 Beta 2), so which version did you use to make 1.04 with?

I remember reading somewhere that the font problem was fixed, but it's not. Mine still looks the same as the screenshots I posted before (The ones before I italicized everything to remedy the problem. I'm one of those people on WinXP who like to keep the smooth edges on fonts to "standard" instead of "cleartype.") I thought it was a foobar2000 problem, not specifically your config.

Edited by stripedphantom

Whoops, correcting myself here.

The ClearType/font problem is because of the newer versions of PanelsUI. I had no problems with the fonts in my old config with Panels UI version 0.13.8 beta. (And don't try to use Dawxxx666's configs above 1.03 with that version of PanelsUI, because it won't work.)

    • UK funds £60M AI labs to challenge US tech dominance with open-source models by Paul Hill The UK government has awarded £60 million to Oxford University and University College London to help keep the country in the AI race by focusing on open-source, low-hardware alternatives. This is in stark contrast to the expensive, closed-source, and high-hardware-requirement models being created in the United States and elsewhere. The money will be shared among two new academic research labs over six years to help them redesign the fundamental mathematics and architectures of AI to help the UK reduce its reliance on a handful of US tech firms. Commenting on the development, AI Minister Kanishka Narayan said: Initially, the government planned to fund just one lab with a £40 million investment, but with this update, two labs will now get access to a larger pool of funds. The labs are expected to invest in the top AI researchers at every career stage, with £2 million per lab being set aside for hiring at least ten doctoral students. The government hopes that this will grow the UK’s talent in the field of AI. The labs are also expected to work closely with the leaders in British AI research, such as the Alan Turing Institute and UKRI’s AI research hubs. This will allow the various teams to collaborate and create new solutions faster than they could alone. This development is pretty interesting for a number of reasons, chiefly that it could create a long-term challenge for US tech firms if these labs successfully scale these open-source architectures that bypass the proprietary ecosystems. It could also give British businesses and public sector organizations access to AI features without paying high licensing fees to foreign providers or needing to invest in specialized server infrastructure.
    • If I were them, I'm gonna hold out until the prices of these semiconductor parts normalize. $1,049 for a ~5 year old hardware is DoA, more so for gamers. On a deeper note, if Steam Machine is priced like this, we are soo effed up for the next gen Xbox console and PS6. With great AAA titles releasing at the end of the year, this just creates more demand...and more tears for me. Lol.
    • I suspect one reason its hard to justify subsidising is that it's not a locked down device like a traditional console is. In this climate sadly if it was a "good deal" you'd get people hoarding them for anything but gaming. The Lenovo Legion Go 2 with the Ryzen Z2 Extreme is £1300 here ($1720) for some context on how other SteamOS like devices are now priced. I got the older Z1 Extreme model for £300 with a dock, just shows how insane prices have got recently.
