I think on x64 systems, cmd.exe doesn't do anything at all when you press alt+tab.

On 32-bit systems it might still work if you have a non-WDDM driver, or maybe if you have the DWM disabled.

I can get cmd.exe in full screen on my copy of Vista x64 by hitting alt+enter.

Someone will (most likely) correct me if I'm wrong, but my understanding...

a display mode switch will be required to create a full screen CMD window, since in essence CMD windows will operate in a CGA or maybe EGA mode. If the driver cannot interpolate the mode switch properly, then you will get a CMD window that does not fill the screen.

This is not a problem though, since the CMD window is mostly a command prompt virtualized into an on-screen window by the kernel.

It won't goto fullscreen if your running Aero... If you use Classic or a non-Aero theme, it works in fullscreen.

Well thats what happens to me anyways.

Please dont say crap you do not know.

I changed to classic and it still did not work. Don't post something if you are not 100% sure. Thanks.

      I switched to AdGuard for this very reason. All my uBlock filters and user scripts ported over with no issues.

      This is a hot take, but I only use "New" Outlook for 1 reason, the "My Day" side bar that shows your tasks and Calendar on "New" Outlook allows you to view shared calendars and not just your personal calendar. On "Classic" Outlook it only allows your personal Calendar. For my job, we have a group shared Calendar that shows appointments and scheduled tasks for the team and we don't really use our personal calendars.

Additionally, the browser now has a built-in football tracker, allowing you to follow your favorite team without using dedicated apps. The tracker displays live scores, notifications, and statistics in a dedicated football hub. You can also check out line-ups, match events, and more. Opera surveyed its users, and 38% of responders said they plan to follow the FIFA World Cup 2026 in a browser. The tournament starts on June 11 and ends on July 19, 2026. "By providing football fans with instant access to live scores alongside a more considered design, we’re ensuring they are never more than a tap away from the action, even when they can't watch live," said Tim Lesnik, Product Manager at Opera Mobile. For Opera users in the United States, Opera runs a contest, offering them a chance to win tickets to a match in Miami in July, Android smartphones, PlayStation 5 consoles, smart TVs, and Amazon Vouchers.       That definitely doesn’t match my experience with using Outlook. I use the new Outlook with a local account, connected to a email account, that absolutely isn’t connected to a Microsoft account without an issue.   I used Thunderbird/Firebird once, lost some very precious emails and memories, because of the way it stored emails. Swore I would never use it again, it technically wasn’t the fault of Thunderbird, but an extension but the underlying reason it failed was due to the message format.
