you do not have permission to save.......

this is my first thread here, i hope someone can help me on this matter. i've been in google with no results! my problem is i have been saving some pitures to my cd drive for some time now and i just up-graded to dvd. every thing was working just fine for the last couple of months until today i did the same rotine i always do right click on the picture and click save as. but now this error pops up saying YOU DO NOT HAVE PERMISSION TO SAVE IN THIS DIRECTORY SEE THE ADMINISTRATOR TO OBTAIN PERMISSON!!! I am the administrator and i'm on a stand alone PC. and it looks like lots of other people are having the same problem from my search on google. i am running windows XP SP2 on a old sony vaio. i am some what computer smart but this bloody thing has me puzzled??

SOME ONE PLEASE ADVISE!!!!

Are you trying to save pictures to a dvd? If so check that your dvd drive is a dvd-r or rw (same with the dvd). Check that windows is actually burning the files instead of just saving them to a temporary location.
