Date Brought Forward

Those of you waiting to see Hugh Jackman back on the big screen as Wolverine don't have too long to wait any more...

The first of the big summer blockbusters this year (Watchmen doesn't count, as it's out before Easter!) is X-men Origins: Wolverine, which we were talking about earlier today (our story about the new poster for the film can be found here).

However, it's now been revealed that the release date for the film has been brought forward a couple of days. The original plan was for the film to get its release on Friday 1st May, but thanks to a quick shuffle of the schedules, it's now moved into April. Good, good.

The new date that you need to mark in your diaries is Wednesday 29th April 2009. It's not a huge shift, granted, but given that we're really quite looking forward to this one, we'll happily take it.

Don't kill me people, but I never watch any of the X-men movies until i thought why not, so last 3 days I've watched a movie everyday. All X-men movies are awesome and they're so many familiar faces in the cast of all 3. So now I'm ready for this :)

1 was awesome

2 was crappy but watchable

3 was amazing

:p

^ I wouldn't say they are all awesome, but they are entertaining.

Yea I know  I'll get it :), don't suppose you could point me in the direction as to where.

I wouldn't know where to get them no. I bought all volumes while they where in store so I've got them in my bookshelf. You're not planning on stealing them now are you? :p

Storms There but Won't Be Seen (Source)

Widescreen Vision has posted some interesting sound bites from X-Men Origins: Wolverine producer Lauren Shuler Donner in which she mentions that Storm was included as a cameo in a scene that won't make the final cut, that the film is well under two hours and that she doesn't expect there will be many scenes not included for the DVD. You can listen to it here.

Directed by Gavin Hood, the prequel stars Hugh Jackman, Liev Schreiber, Ryan Reynolds, Taylor Kitsch, Will.i.am, Danny Huston, Dominic Monaghan, Daniel Henney and Lynn Collins. It opens on May 1st.

hope they don't go with the yellow and blue costume like this sorry moron pictured at comic con. lol

What's wrong with the yellow and blue outfit? It's a hell of a lot better than the black with yellow piping from X-men 1. Although if they can't make it look better than that guy then I'll have to agree with you.

Beginning Sunday, viewers across the nation can witness the origins of one of the year?s most anticipated movies, when Twentieth Century Fox debuts an exclusive, three-part reveal of X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE on FOX.

For this unprecedented promotional event ? which is too big for one night ? the studio has created three special 60-second spots, one leading into the next, and which together form a narrative. The first spot airs this Sunday (February 15) on ?Family Guy,? the second on Monday (Feb. 16) on ?House,? and the third on Tuesday (Feb. 17) on ?American Idol.?

Following Tuesday?s broadcast of the final spot, all three reveals will be released on Yahoo!

in addition 20th Century Fox have provided LATINO REVIEW with and EXCLUSIVE still from the film as well. Have a look below. Click on it for a larger view.

Gavin Hood directs from a screenplay by David Benioff and Skip Woods (writing credit not yet final). The producers are Lauren Shuler Donner, Ralph Winter, Hugh Jackman, and John Palermo.

    • While I agree with all that, it just proves there's an a** built for every seat.
    • Lol are you mad because I'm not using AI? I'd rather pay people than lose a bunch of potential customers and get humilated because I used AI. A lot of people won't purchase a game if it used AI during development.
