However, there's also growing rumors and speculation that the studio itself intentionally leaked the film to generate buzz or get feedback on the movie. Despite the vast popularity of Wolverine in the comic community, early test screenings of the film reportedly were unanimously negative -- in short, the film reportedly is set to bomb. This led to the studio going back to shooting more scenes, adding more screen time for Deadpool -- another comic fan-favorite. However, reports have it that later test screenings saw fans finding the portrayal of Deadpool to be insulting to the source material and poorly done.

It's plausible but by sales we'll find out soon enough once their first weekend numbers are in.

From what I saw, there is absolutely no way they can fix this movie. 90% of it is pure crap.

Will you give it a rest already? We get it. You saw the Wolverine movie a month before it's due out. Congratu-****ing-lations. You know how to open a torrent file. Everybody bow to your amazing skills and your views about an unfinished movie.

Guys, I don't think it's a good idea to admit having watched the leaked version of X-Men Origins: Wolverine. It's against the Community Rules.

We all happen to have Uncles at 20th Century Fox or were invited to an official early test screening. There, now you can sleep better.

Yeah plus to agree with Anaron it's against the rules so keep it on the down low.

My in-depth review:

Fantastic movie, even in this unfinnished state. It just goes to show that special effects really aren't that important even in a movie which relies on them so much. Just a suggestion of what you should be seeing is enough to move the story along

The funny thing about it is that the unfinished special effects underscored how absolutely terrible the movie was.

Somebody in the production must have really wanted this movie to fail big time at the box office and it looks like it's headed that way.

Lol. You still don't get it, do you?

The sad fact is alot of people are judging what they saw to be the whole movie when clearly as mentioned here alot is missing so infact its not the final movie so don't judge it...and people who say "why was he not wearing this" clearly haven't read the comics.

</rant over>

That's exactly what I was thinking every time I read a bad comment about it! Both the link and the thing about the comics. I explained the latter somewhat in an earlier post of mine :)

who knows, this could be a great thing too to force some magic to make the film even more magical..... (despite it being a working unedited copy)...

I'm a delusional fan whose wondering if the game is now going to outclass the film!!!

Forget damn Wolverine Spinoff or any X-men Spinoff

DO X-men 4 with Original X-men 1-2 casts!

Forget X-men 3 Last Stand too, unless they can bring Cyclops back!

Have Bryan Singer back!!

Add Gambit (Josh Holloway), Psylocke(Zhang Ziyi) PROBLEM SOLVED!!!

What? really?

On what evidence do you think he would make a good Gambit?

^He's dreaming out loud :p It would be awesome if they had Gambit and Psylocke in a possible X-Men 4.

They do want to reboot the X-Men franchise with X-Men: First Class. But Gambit and Psylocke haven't been a part of that comic book series as far as I know. And Josh Holloway as Gambit? I'm gonna give that a big "NO". On the other hand, Zhang Ziyi as Psylocke would be a good casting I think.

@Anarcho-Capitalist: Now I won't. I've waited so long for this movie so I'm sure it wont be terrible for me. Despite the bad comments I still know for sure that I'm going to enjoy this movie as much as possible. Have you ever read any X-Men comic book, or are you only familiar with the cartoons and movies?

    • This is exactly why I keep saying we are not ready for human free self-driving. These little "bugs" are may seem like random one-offs. There was also the Waymo that drove between police with drawn guns and the suspect they were pointing them at. From a software perspective it is easy to understand how those extremely rare situations may not have been programed for, but that is the point. If AI needs to be told to watch out for every possible contingency, then it can never be successful. There will always be the possibility of a first encounter that the AI needs to understand to avoid.

    • Recycle Bin has been broken for literal YEARS now. The setting to delete files older than 30 days from the bin which is on by default doesn't even work. I have files older than 4 months in it and they are just there still...
