I have read all the comics and if the spoilers I read are true then it will blow. The spoilers I read of people have seen it already it definitely has problems which is to bad cause it could be way better.

they needed to keep to the true storie... and make it R rated!

I've come to the conclusion that most bad comments about the leaked movie are from people who probably haven't read any of the Wolverine Origin comics, or ANY Wolverine comic for that matter.

The movie is made for people who actually know stuff about Wolverine etc. If you have no idea about the past from Wolverine (he didnt get his claws from Weapon X. Weapon X only gave him the Adamantium layer on his bones, etc, etc), and only saw the X-Men movies/cartoons, then you dont know enough.

I saw a comment about Sabertooth, where someone said it's wrong that he's wearing clothes and that he doesn't have all if his body hair (that sounded wrong :p). This guy obviously doesn't know how Sabertooth looked in the past.

Gotta love fanboys. It's a friggin movie not a spiritual experience. They're simply stating their opinion. None of these movies have been made for the die hard comic fans if you wanna truly be honest...not a single one of them because they need to mass market it for that $100 million dollar floor. I can point ridiculous inconsistencies from the origin comic as well but whats the point, in the end it has to be sufficiently entertaining. This cut was decent and I'm hoping the final cut will make it great.

Yeah Hugh Jackman also is a big fan of the comics so he will always try and keep it faithful.

^Which he pretty much did :p

@Nemo Live: Then for starters, they shouldn't compare Sabertooth with the one from the first X-Men movie. I think that it's pretty much common knowledge that the characters are looking totally different then there present comic versions.

I just stated all the things in my previous post just because the leaked version is already getting bad comments. Bad comments that aren't even righteous imo. They want to see the new movie because they want to know about Wolverine's past. Then why can't they accept that the characters looked like that in the past?

@lflashl: It would've been awesome if the movie was as dark as the Wolverine comics. Then it could've competed with The Dark Knight. Tod McFarlane is trying to make a new Spawn movie based on Sam and Twitch. He IS planning on making it as dark as the comic books. I don't know if you read Spawn, but it's a pretty dark comic book at some times.

Yeah, I kind of figured some people who get irritated that it's not like the Cartoon or main stream Comic...whatever though. The movie still has to be good, and from what I've heard it's not really going to be so hot. Like I said, I'll still watch it, but kind of makes you think..

Also, if something too far out of the realm of norm for the masses..people have a tendency to not like it. That means less money..last I checked, that's all this is really about for Studios. I hope I'm wrong..

The movie is based on this for those who care: Origin (Comics)

While I can understand people wanting the movie to stick to the comic, I don't understand why they're so adamant about it. Think about it this way, reading the comic, you already know what everything is going to happen. Additionally, it's a great possibility that you will be disappointed because the movie does not live up what the comic has built up in your mind.

On the other hand, if you simply discard the whole true to comic idea, you get surprises, and have no unattainable expectations.

Personally, I don't know the exact history of Wolverine, and I enjoyed it.

One of the main reasons I wanted to watch it was for Reynolds. Guy is hilarious. From what I've heard he doesn't even speak in the leaked version. As much as I want to see it early I'll just wait and hope the final one isn't nearly as bad as everyone makes it out to be. Although effects and reshoots don't make up for bad acting :(

Yeah, he's featured in one of the story arcs for about 5mins and then suddenly reappears in the end. I heard the re-shoots done in January primarily involved his character so that we can get more background on how he ends up as Weapon XI.

My concern is now with it out and all the bad reviews it will bomb in theaters. Granted if its not any better it probably should. But not fair to everyone involved.

These people who are giving reviews on a movie minus key sfx, soundtrack and even key moments, I mean the film even recently refilmed alot of what was poor from the screening and the screening that was released or leaked is the original print so its not even got the refilmed stuff in it.

    • Looks like the 7.1 is fake effects, can it at least do real 5.1? It says 'virtual 7.1' in all descriptions.
    • You can't, if you didn't notice, it doesn't support surround at all, it's right in the spec list.
    • Hi — I’m always interested in soundcards. Like displays, I just want to know I’m getting as much clean “sonic juice” into my brain as possible as the years take their toll. I’m not entirely sure what to take away from this review, though. It doesn’t really tell me whether the AE‑X is a good product or who it’s actually for. Most of what I’m getting is: there’s a driver to install, here’s what it looks like, and here’s what’s in the box. There’s a lot of emphasis on the SPDIF input. When you mention not needing to switch headphones between console and PC — does that mean the PC has to be powered on just to pass audio through? That seems like a fairly big waste of energy. Is this more something a streamer would use alongside a capture card? How are you testing the sound? (Also, you might want to clarify that you’re using the headphones in wired mode when you mention they’re wireless.) You mention the lack of EMI shielding — how much real‑world difference does that make compared with typical motherboard audio? On multi‑channel: what exactly isn’t supported? Does this mean Windows spatial audio (Dolby Atmos for Headphones, DTS Headphone:X, etc.) won’t work, or just that the card itself doesn’t decode surround formats? And are there any true multi‑driver “surround” headphones left that would even use that? You also highlight support for high‑impedance headphones — but what does that translate to in practice? How does it compare to driving the same headphones from a normal device, and does it make any difference for everyday, lower‑impedance models? In short, who is this card actually targeted at?
