Wolverine To Have Multiple Secret Endings

While the theatrical version of X-Men Origins: Wolverine doesn?t contains 10 minutes of footage not seen in the leaked workprint as Tom Rothman claimed, it does contain some added ?Easter eggs?. Gavin Hood appeared at a press screening in Hollywood tonight, and the director revealed that the theatrical cut would feature multiple ?Easter egg endings? (or what some call ?a button?) following the credits.

FirstShowing was in attendance and saw one of the endings, which Alex tells me ran 25-30 seconds in length and featured the character of Deadpool. It?s not clear how many different endings will be released, but the director said more than one.

2 Wolverine Endings Revealed!

As you may have heard apparently FOX has given X-Men Origins: Wolverine several different endings. These ending scenes will run after the credits have rolled. I have been sent some reports that have been found that sheds some light on what two of these different ending are. I think Fox used this as a way to get people into the theaters after the movie leaked out online. So here are the two potential endings.

*SPOILERS*

The first ending is from comic book movie which gave the movie a great review. In the version they saw after about 30 seconds of credits there was a scene with Stryker walking down a road and being stopped by several soldiers in regards to him killing a general earlier in the film. After all the credits rolled they say this is what happened.

Wolverine sitting in a bar and speaking in Japanese saying that he is drinking to remember.

Yeah ok. Thats not really that exciting. Not worth sitting through the credits for. But this next one is! And this is the one they should have tacked on to every freakin Wolverine print because this the the ending everyone wants to see. This comes from the slumz forum.

Basically they zoom in on the rubble of the destroyed nuclear plant. We see Deadpools hand out of the rumble and then we see his head on the floor. We then see a guy in a long black over coat with his hood up, kneel down and pick up the head. We then hear dialogue as the camera pans around, ? who the hell are you supposed to be?? and as it pans around we see its Wade Wilson. (Ryan Reynolds). then the screen fades to black. BTW its after the credits.

so Wade is alive and well? Weapon XI was a Wade Clone?. DEADPOOL lives.

This is the version that I want to see. I hope this turns out to be true. It is the only way I can see a Deadpool movie be born from the mess they made of him. What do you all think about these possible different endings to the movie?

heh thats great. I was looking forward to his character the most. Always loved him in the comics. I was sad to hear he was pretty much a mute in the workprint and how the final version is unchanged I'm a little upset. A spinoff would be nice.

Still debating if I should go see it this weekend or pick it up on dvd.

New character spot videos!

Blob

Emma Frost

Gambit

Sabertooth

Wade Wilson

Whoa those where great the only thing that really.. and I mean really annoyed me was: "Rated PG13"

I watched the movie yesterday and I don't think it's bad, not at all. The intro was fantastic how they faded from one scene to another during the various wars. The rest of the movie could be better but I'm not saying it was bad. I went with a couple of friends, no X-Men fans, and they enjoyed it as well.

Just got back.

This is the Wolverine I've been waiting to see. Minus the thirst for gore & such. He's pretty badass in this one. But not too vicious. The story ties in pretty well to Singer's X-Men movie. There was a lot of humor, but it was more mature & not too corny. Unlike Singer's movies (not a bad thing).

The only thing that bothered me was Xavier's cameo in the end. He looked like Gollum. They should've gotten the team who did it in X3

8.5/10

What a horrible movie...what really killed it for me was the dialogue and some of the worst CGI I have seen.

EDIT: I want my money back.

Lol, thank god I saved myself the trouble and time. Whoever leaked that workprint did a whole lot us a HUUUUGE favor.

Well Rotten tomatoes and Metacritic have it at measly 35% and 48%.. so it's definitely not a masterpiece. X-Men movies scored much higher then this one. X-Men 1 and 2 were 80 and 88% on Rotten Tomatoes and Third one was like 68%. This one is 35%. So my expectations will be really low.

I'm starting to think that the leak rumor, that Fox did because movie received negative scores on press viewings so they could fix things, was true.

The bar was set pretty high after TDK for comic book movies. Don't expect all of them to come close. I just enjoyed it for what it was. A good action movie to kick off the summer.

My expectation have nothing to do with The Dark Knight. It solely has to do with what I want from it and what I expect from it. Unfortunately, what I want is far different from what I expect from it.

I thought it was pretty good. Didn't really like how it ended though.

The cgi was really really bad... as in, REALLY bad for a movie released in 2009 - I'm saying that about the version that I saw at the movies not the work print leak btw.
