[Track] Webb Breaks 25 Year Old American Mile Record

Wow! It's a shame it hasn't got more coverage... ESPN hasn't made a single mention of it today, and I didn't see anything yesterday on it. Someone told me it was mentioned for a few seconds around midnight, though...

His time was 3:46.91, the fastest time this year, breaking Steve Scott's 25 year old record of 3:47.69.

He ran a mile in 3:46 minutes? He must have been straight out full speed sprinting the entire time.

Well, not sprinting in the track sense, but his average speed per lap (400) is probably faster than anyone here can go for a single lap unless they train for track for a few of months.
