It has been reported, in some threads, that AP endlessly stay at 90% finished when installing PowerMenu.

I could reproduce that on my machine, so I looked further and understand why. And then playing with installation and uninstallation of Powermenu I discovered that things where not so simple, because PowerMenu has a dll (Powermenu.dll) witch is hooked to every process. So, fully uninstalling or replacing Powermenu implies a first cmd script then a reboot and a second script.

I redesigned the [installation] and [Removal] section of the powermenu_enu.apm file to comply with that. You will find this new file here powermenu_enu.zip

One small question remains : are we able to dynamically, from the Installation section, set the RequiresReboot value to True ? If yes, I will add that. If no, things will work however.

PowerMenu author Thong Nguyen as a small blog where you can support it.

There is also a French translation done by Matt that you can download from this page. It will be included in the next French release of Autopatcher...

Thank you for taking the time and trouble to research and hopefully fix this problem.

I just downloaded the file and will try it when I get back from doing a Network update.

I thought it was me going crazy and had dropped Powermenu from my CD.

Thanks again
