damn! hook us up with the scripts. at least the clock, and weather one for me. on for me! and tell me where you got those dock icons!!!

[edit] and the wallpaper too! great stuff man!

For the wallpaper, go to http://www.deviantart.com/ and search for 'blueberry' - its called 'blueberry bass'.

For the config - I just posted the weather config/script/PNGs/PSDs. Do you want some others?

For the clock - go here

For the dock PNGs., well, they are 50% snow-E. Which others do you need?

Hey, when i try to change to my city, i get a file not found error. i did what you said in the last post. what am i doing wrong?

[edit] as for the dock pngs, do you think that you could post a link to the other places that you got them? i have snow e2, but some of the ones that you have look sweat, and i would like to see what else you got. thanks again

I just changed over from Classix Ergo today. Once I saw the green version of 10k, I had to try it. I worked on a Samurize script for a bit. It's the first one I've ever done and it still has some work to be done to it, but I gotta go to bed.

Any suggestions from you design geniuses out there? I think it's a little cramped... maybe I need to spread everything out a little?

Click for full size.

For those things just install Samurize from www.samurize.com and then go to Edit Meters -> Add Meter and choose the one you want. Then all u have to do is just adjust the font and the output and you are done. For CPU usage you have to use Perfmon. Add a perfmon meter -> in performance object choose Processor -> and in the counters window choose Processor Time and hit OK.

You might also want to get a nice png for the background. You can find some on the samurize site or even make yr own.

Hey judge, the link doesnt work

he wrote chart.net instead of charter.net in the link, just copy and paste, and repair ;)

Chris

Thanks man! Good work!

By the way Judge, after trying the newest one that you released, it still doesn't say my city. I'm not smart enough to figure out way. Sorry man.

To find the code for your location go to http://weather.interceptvector.com/list.php and look up your city. You will see an entry something like:

http://weather.interceptvector.com/weather.xml?id=VVNNQTAwMDQ%3D

The part after '?id=' is your city code.

Then you can either use the Samurize config editor to edit the meter, or you can just edit the .ini file directly: If you edit JudgeWeather.ini directly, search for 'Param1=' and change the value to that you got from weather.interceptvector above. If you use the config editor there is a meter with no text hidden between the two PNGs. Change its second parameter as above.

works fine here. might try to get rid of the 2 decimals (15,32 C? -> 15).

hope I'm gonna be able to do it with my limited java knowledge.

edit>: obviously someone on samurize.com had the same idea some time ago. you simply have to add Round(Eval( ... )).

example below (changed part is bold):

getFCTemp=Round(Eval>(fNodes.item(aNodeId).childNodes.item(1).tex))> & " / " &Round(Eval>(fNodes.item(aNodeId).childNodes.item(2).tex))> & tSign

    • Claude on Windows is eating up massive amounts of RAM, with no way to stop it by Usama Jawad Anthropic has been in the headlines a lot lately, primarily due to its latest revenue and valuation figures, along with its release of its state-of-the-art (SOTA) Fable model. While its flagship product, Claude, may be very popular among millions of users, a lot of them are now reporting memory issues when using the tool. Over on Claude Code's GitHub repository, an issue raised in February has been gaining traction once again. Basically, Claude Desktop on Windows spins up a 1.8GB Hyper-V virtual machine if you use Claude Cowork or agent mode even once. This happens on each launch of Claude Code even if you plan to use the tool in chat mode only. Several users have upvoted this bug and stated that it's happening on their machine as well. However, it seemingly affects only Claude desktop users on Windows, not customers of the CLI or any other platform. Once the bug is triggered, it also shows a Vmmem process in Task Manager, indicating CPU usage of 0% and RAM utilization of a whopping ~1.8GB. Claude users complain that this process should only spin up when you explicitly launch agent mode or Cowork in Claude, with session files efficiently cleaned up after use. Additionally, they are calling for Claude to gracefully handle the absence of virtual machine-based infrastructure, without compromising on chat performance. It's unclear when this issue originated or what the root cause behind it is, but people are once again actively engaging in the GitHub thread as well as Hacker News. You can also find other technical details and log events over on GitHub. It's unclear if Anthropic will look into this issue, especially since it's already been reported for a few months. However, the bug is also causing major annoyance for users, with many claiming that it has led them to uninstall Claude Code on desktop, as a concrete workaround is not yet known.
