Hey judge !! where in the code should I put my citycode ? I always got NA, and tried every possible location !!!

Thx for your help !

You don't put it in the code, you put it in the config (see pervious messages for details). However, you might want to check the pathname that is built into the script file for samurize. It assumes you have it installed in C:/Program Files/Samurize. If you have it installed somewhere different you only have to change it in one place.

Also, if you are running antivirus software, you might want to check that it isn't interfering with the script.

damn! hook us up with the scripts. at least the clock, and weather one for me. on for me! and tell me where you got those dock icons!!!

[edit] and the wallpaper too! great stuff man!

There is a large collection of dock icons at http://www.jonmega.com/~clotz/ and at http://usuarios.lycos.es/aguaman/. Plus you can trawl throught http://www.aqua-soft.org/, http://www.deskmod.com/, http://www.wincustomize.com/ - remember you can use PNGs and .ico files with ObjectDock.

Finally, there are a few I've concocted/converted myself. You can download the OD theme that includes them here

What I'm about to say, I'm not trying to be a mod, or an ass, or anything like that... I'm simply making a request:

Can you guys PLEASE stop posting full screen pics just to show off a little 200x300 samurize config?

I can understand people like Judge, Raymond, redFX, wreckk, etc who have configs that fill practically half the screen. But c'mon guys, show a little courtesy. And not for the dialup user, no one cares about them, but this is NOT a desktop thread, it's a Samurize thread. If you want people to see your entire desktop, post it in the Dtop thread and create a URL to the full image.

kthxbye

p.s. kcc, I'm not getting after you specifically, I meant to post this request a while ago, you just reminded me is all. ;) Heh.

man, i think that you need to vent some anger! but i do know that you are saying. i just hate having to scroll over to see there set-ups.

anger? what anger?!?!

Haha, dude, are you sure you read my post right? No anger there, just being blunt is all. There's a bit of a difference. :D :ninja:

Just laziness on my part - I'd thought about doing it (honest). I'll try and comply in the future

Aw shucks. I wish I'd read that before I spent the whole morning messing with the script. Are you using Windows 2000 by any chance?

Well. The long and the short of it is that I can't get this to work on Windows 2000 because I can't kill the previous Samurize instance. The function I use doesn't seem to be available on W2K and the alternative method of sending the F4 key to the window doesn't seem to work if that window is pinned to the desktop (like all mine are).

So the upshot seems to be that this is an XP only script.

Unless you know different of course.

judge: is it possible that u are using the wrong png in the lower box? You have aNodeId: 0 for all the text meters in this box, but u use tmpImgForecast1.png instead of tmpImgForecast0.png.

If I choose anodid:1 the tmpImgforecast2.png doesn't fit the condition(obviously).

err. I think you probably got me there. doh.

hey judge !! I seem to have no problem with PNGs, but it seems to be a problem when a restart my pc....it loads to instances of samurize...I think theres a problem somewhere in the code, maybe in the getcachefile ? After that, one instance of samurize is suposed to be killed ?

well, help apreciated !

Thx..

    • I just started using Teams (and “New” Oiutlook) at work (instead of Slack) and both are truly abysmal pieces of software.
