Heh, at least Amy is finally clothed in this episode :D

And, I gotta admit, this Dalek story seem refreshing to me for some odd reason. I mean, I know at the end they will try to kill everyone and take over the world and the usual Dalek stuff, but leave it to Moffat to have a fairly unique Dalek episode :)

I'm hoping its different from the usual Dalek stories, I'm totally up for them getting away or something similar.

Better than them always getting killed and then always turning up.

There's a review of episode three, "Victory Of The Daleks."

The episode is basically split into two halves ? the first 12-15 minutes are really exciting and play up the "Blitz spirit" and Winston Churchill's cabinet war rooms. We meet Churchill before the opening credits, and there's a quick twist to capture your attention. Churchill talks in speeches and patriotic slogans, but Edwin Bracewell, the Daleks' "inventor" is a more fleshed-out character. There's a great space dogfight (as seen in the trailers.) The Daleks have been redesigned again, and instead of names, are called things like Drone, Scientist, Supreme, Strategist and Eternal. This story reintroduces the Daleks in a way that leaves the door open for them to return. And the fact that Amy has never heard of

Hey, guys, I'm working with BBC America and I wanted to pass on a very cool clip and help get you ready for the US premiere Saturday at 9/8c!

There was a fan screening in East Village and Matt Smith, Karen Gillan and Steven Moffat answered questions by fans afterward - watch the video on the BBC America website: http://www.bbcamerica.com/shows/doctor-who/video/events.jsp?bcpid=78110230001&bclid=78116751001&bctid=78144784001

Thanks a bunch. :)

Was it just my TV or was some of the speech in that episode ridiculously hard to hear?

mine was ok? on Freeview

I noticed again another nod to the crack, that's 3 for 3 for the crack!

I heard he was gay not sure how true that is

Can't really say he sets my Gaydar off, to be honest.

As for tonights episode - I wasn't all that impressed. We had a power cut in my street about 15 mins before the start, and the lights were a flickering more than in the Cabinet War rooms, so I'm glad the power didn't go off, however, I didn't really "dig" tonights episode - it seeemed like they'd come up with a decent idea, then consensed it down into a single episode

Spoilers:

Also - those new Daleks - United Colors of Benneton anyone? Or have they been taking advice from The Power Rangers?

Next week looks interesting, however.

    • I really wonder if this has to do with the built in VPN or "private DNS" of browsers that trip up legal requirements like cookie consent and Cloudflare (to avoid all the botnet attacks we get). And BTW some botnets still manage to get past Cloudflare, we are constantly having to tweak it to block malicious traffic that ultimately cause a DDoS.
    • CPPC states can also be messed around with in most UEFI settings but aren't as robust as the ones that the Windows Scheduler can provide! Make sure you look into what your motherboard also has before customizing for the Windows Scheduler.
