Great Dalek story, probably the best one of the new series, and for once the door is open for them to come back rather than ANOTHER resurrection. Didn't like the different colors, when the first one came out I though cool their back (or similar) to the original color.

Yeah I was thinking that too. I think it's 13.

Are they going to reference that "crack" in every episode?!

Curious how the Doctor said to Amy, that she should of known who the Daleks are. But she didn't... Meaning from episodes like "Army of Ghosts" and "Stolen Earth" when they invaded earth?

I'm guessing "the crack" is this season's Badwolf.

It's probably going to be referenced in every episode and resolved in the final.

I agree with the episode being rushed... and the fact is that Amy seems quite capable of saving the world without the doctor holding her back... do i smell potential spin off CBBC series... :whistle:

I felt the episode was too rushed. Remember Ecclestone's reaction when he first met the Daleks again? Or Tennants's expression of hate? Smith missed his opportunity to to really shine as an actor, which was a shame. Not really dumbing-down, but surely a sign that the new Who is aiming for a younger audience, and won't be as dark or thought provoking as some of us had hoped.

And I'm sorry, primary-coloured Daleks just aren't scary or menacing anymore. I was looking forward to the Weeping Angels episode, but after this I fear the worst.

I watched the premiere on BBC America last night. I was very pleased with the episode. Matt Smith did an excellent job. He has the Doctor style (I'm not sure how to describe it but I know it when I see it). The episode was very well written.

I'm intrigued by the crack and want to know more.
