Veteran Posted November 21, 2001 Veteran Share Posted November 21, 2001 If the default XP drivers worked before, including your rear speakers and all that then you don't need to upgrade and i'd suggest using the 2601 drivers. I am using the XP default drivers and i get full 5.1 channels and digital out if I choose it. So i'm not gonna "upgrade" to anything else other than MS drivers.
