Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince

I don't know if anyone reads my blog but I featured an artist on there recently, his versions of the potter book covers anyway he's been noticed by WB and they might actually get made!

At a recent private special screening for some members of the public this film was slaughtered, Most of the people left bitterly disappointed and most commented that a lot of the scenes had no real effect in the film and some commented that there were scenes that aren't even in th book. Some people have also said that the Prince mentioned in the title barely makes an appearance.

If they stay faithful to the book (which they've mostly done up to this point for the other films) it should be fantastic.

I personally can't wait for the last movie (the "2nd" Deathly Hallows movie?) for the scene where Voldemort and Harry battle it out. It's going to be epic win.

Yeah I had heard that, after alot was cut out of Phoenix I really hoped they would try and pack everything major in.

Umm if memory serves me right... the Half Blood prince is just snape, the book was about harry getting a book helping him with his potions/spells, and the one who made them was the half blood prince, who turns out to be Snape

Is there a video game based on this one too?

Most likely!

The comment about the special preview viewing was not very pleasing to read. I really hope they have stuck close to the book but after watching Pheonix and being disappointed by it because they cut so much out, my hopes for this one has dropped quite a lot!

I've learned to separate the books from the movies. If i want an uber amount of details, i'll read the books, if i want to be entertained, i'll watch the movies. Simple as that. Just like LOTR's, it's impossible to fit each of these books into a 2:30 movie. Thankfully we have deleted scenes, extended cuts, etc, but people need to realize everything can't be packed in.

Thats all good yeah but when they cut out important parts or even change them then it's not entertaining, it's just annoying. It also mis-leads people who have not read the books.
