Wow, that really sucks about the disc scratching thing for the Limited Editions... but does this not also affect the Legendary Editions? Isn't it the same disc packaging?

I was under the impression that the Legendary had the normal DVD case (the one you get if you buy just the game) because that's what fits inside the helmet. I could be wrong though.

The LE DVD is in a metal case, which is (obviously) different than the normal one.

woops just read Stifler's post and maybe he's right. The pictures over at Engadget have the same case, but I think it might just be a plastic cover actually..Someone else able to make it out?

Read my post again, I edited + pics from Engadget. I'm not sure if it's the tin version, it has the same design, but it could just be a plastic cover.

It looks like the same thing. I was just taking a wild guess with my post.

And it's probably not as big a deal as people are making it. Everyone said the Halo 2 LE discs scratched easily because of how they were stored and mine's still yet to be scratched (although the case is dented, haha). Just like the H2 problem was blown out of proportion and didn't make much of a difference, I feel this one is going to be the same way.

      If Ford would stop hiring SUITS to run the company, and put CAR GUYS back in charge perhaps they could do better. Heck, the only CAR they produce today is the Mustang. Hey Ford! Not everyone needs/wants an overpriced SUV or pickup truck that is so tall you have to have a step ladder to get in and out of it.

      Amazing how some will just jump all over something. Probably the same people that thought Musk was a "tech god" before he saddled up with "bad orange man". Before, they worshiped at his feet, including a lot of so called hollywood types. Now, because he fell off the plantation truck, they toss him under the bus.
