halo 2 was leaked like a month before. it was the french copy though

Ah yes, I remember those days. I was so excited to see Halo 2 on my TV before most of the world and find out it was in French. Took forever and a day to download. Too bad I don't have my xbox anymore...oh well

Mike

If you haven't heard from Play already, I'd say it's safe your copy is reserved. What ever you do, don't cancel it :p

I've not bought from Virgin before, but I do know Green_Eye from Neowin got his copy of Bioshock on release date. Heard all kinds of stories about HMV though. Maybe that was s*** service in the past though?

I've always had great service from Play as well, but their free post is a little slow hence why I never preorder with them. They always get stuff to me in the time frame they set too. Don't sit and worry over it though honestly :) Watch some more vidocs or gameplay videos :D

Yep that true and I had pre-ordered only six days before the launch date and really did NOT expect them to get it to me on launch day needless to say I was very happy and went ahead and pre-ordered collectors edition of Halo3 from them having full confidence in their shipping :)

ohh and for the record those of you who know about my 360 dying well a VERY generous friend of mine is lending me his 360 console till I get mine back from repair :D

Looks like I will be there with ya'll to kick all sorts of butt come 26th :p :shifty:

wanna give me a link. lol

haha . .. its been easily available if you know where to look for a day or so now, :p

. . I have mine on pre-order . . .and have already taken off work for tuesday and wednesday to enjoy Halo 3 without disruption. .. Can't Wait !!!!!

This game is going to be worth every cent . . :) (theres no reason not to buy this game if you are any sort of a halo fan)

btw. . . Heroes season 2 and Halo 3 in the same week . .. pure bliss

ofcourse its gona leak come on guys! Its the game everyone is waiting for. This is one game I am glad I bought! I can't wait to join some live games! This is a game that you dont want to pirate guys! Buy it trust me! Its worth it!

I've checked nearly every store I can think of near me, for about a 30 mile radius (west of Cleveland, OH). I'm thinking of heading out to Sandusky tomorrow and seeing if I can score anything there. But as of now, there's only one store I've been to that I've actually even seen the game at. I almost held it, too. Almost walked out with it. But the manager told the clerk he couldn't sell it till Tuesday. After they'd opened the box. After they'd teased me.

And then, to add insult to injury, that same manager unloaded the box they'd shipped in and sat there reading the back of one of the cases, the whole time glancing over at me.

I am very pleased what microsoft and mainly bungie have put into this game. the gameplay is amazing, looks awesome on my romates 50" DLP in a dark room.

The only complaint I have is that playing co-op is wasn't full screen all the way, it had the bars on the side.

The game didn't take long to beat because we liked the story line. I will not be giving away any spoilers.

    • Microsoft admits one of the most crucial Outlook features is currently broken by Sayan Sen Microsoft is making some decent progress when it comes to Windows 11. Recently we have confirmed reports of some rather useful improvements landing in the next version of the OS, 26H2, wherein GPU driver TDR crashes may finally be fixed, plus the company is also allowing users to disable web content on the Search. On the Outlook front though things have not been so rosy. Last month in May we reported several problems affecting basic functionalities on the app. These included a problem where documents would open blank or corrupt themselves. Following that, Quick Steps, a very useful feature, would no longer work correctly, and finally, Microsoft acknowledged a problem wherein images would fail to load up properly inside the email. Microsoft had resolved those bugs later and almost exactly a month after we reported on them, the company has now admitted a new similarly basic issue, this time on Macs. Users recently started noticing that Outlook would no longer display email threads properly as the original message itself was not displayed. An affected user Tsoumpas, C (ngmb) nicely described the problem in a forum post they made on Microsoft's site. They wrote: "Description of the issue: After updating Outlook for Mac [Version 16.110 (26061317)] on 18/6/2026, replying to any email no longer includes the original message in the reply window. Prior to the update, replies correctly contained the original email text below my response. Expected behavior: The original message should be included in the reply, as in previous Outlook versions and according to the configured reply settings. Actual behavior: The reply window contains only a blank composition area (or only my response), with none of the original email text included." Obviously this must be a highly frustrating for users as noted by several in that thread. The post, at the time of writing, has also been upvoted by more than 40 users indicating that is a fairly widespread bug. Thankfully Microsoft seems to have acknowledged the problem right around that time as it opened a new issue on its official website. In the support article, the company recommends switching to Outlook for Mac from the legacy app, where the problem appears to be happening.
