Ok... I am Clearly not a Bible/religion fanatic, jee!

You don't have to be a fanatic. I hate religion. It is about the same level of an invention as a square wheel. However, I believe that a person should at least be educated on a subject before you try to comment on it.

I just read some spoilers about next week and I can't wait 6 days now :(

The solution is don't read spoilers. Its easy, try it!

True but I can sometimes I can't stop myself so I just have to load at them.

"Lost" loses audience for a third week in a row; FOX preempts reality line-up for low-rated NAACP Awards; and both freshman 10:00pm shows decline. Perhaps nothing can replace the original "Sex and the City" after all.

ABC's "Lost" still managed to come out on top as the #1 show in America last night, but it was the combination of an all-new "Survivor" and reruns of hit procedurals that helped the Eye network win the night overall.

Somewhat worrying is the decline of CW's "Smallville" which was doing considerably better earlier this season. Is the show's age finally taking its toll? The drama is down over 20% year to year.

ABC:

8:00pm Lost ® (6.21 million)

9:00pm Lost (13.62 million)

10:02pm Eli Stone (7.82 million)

CBS:

8:00pm Survivor: Micronesia (13.12 million)

9:00pm CSI: ® (10.96 million)

10:00pm Without a Trace ® (9.63 million)

NBC:

8:00pm Deal or No Deal (12.04 million)

9:00pm Celebrity Apprentice (9.09 million)

10:01pm Lipstick Jungle (6.13 million)

Fox:

8:00pm NAACP Image Awards (3.90 million)

CW:

8:00pm Smallville (3.67 million)

9:00pm Supernatural (2.94 million)

The flashbacks were bad enough, but the flashforwards are ruining the show. It kills all the suspense. Think about it. In last week's episode, right after Sayid killed that guy on the golf course, the audience knew he wasn't in any danger when he went to get Charlotte from Locke. We now know that any danger the 4 out of the Oceanic 6 are in, they will get out just fine.

They're answering questions about the future when we still don't know answers from Season 1. Stupid.

Those are still good numbers, but I can't see them keeping that many with moving the time to 10PM EST.

Part of the reason it was down in viewers was Valentine's Day as well.

And look at the drop off to Eli Stone. Almost 50%. Thats terrible.

Uhm, if you don't like the off island events, why watch the show? The flashbacks are where we learn just about everything we know about the characters.

Yes, I agree that knowing someone gets off the island says they live, and that sucks a little and takes away some of the suspense. But I think thats why its just the Oceanic Six, when we know others (Ben) get off as well. There is some suspense to knowing about those people.

Yes, there are still tons of unanswered questions. But the on island questions have to be resolved on island, which will be before the Oceanic Six get off. When most people make complaints like yours, its because they are taking the show the wrong way. It is one long, continuous story. Not individual seasons. You have to take everything into account, and that includes the future two seasons.

I like the flash fowards granted it reveals who gets off but once we know who the 6 are you then wonder what will happen to the other people which is gonna be awesome. I actually hated the flashbacks many of them I really couldn't care for.

These are just damn TV shows, NO need to be like all serious over the crap!

10PM?

Seriously? WTF ARE THEY THINKING??? :|

If true, MOST Retarded idea EVER!!!

NO, JUST NO!!!

I Actually would love it earlier at 8pm!!!

We MUST NOT let it happen!!!

Probably because the show doesn't just comprise of off-island events.

Break? No episode next week?

Actually the break is after the 7th episode, I believe.

Yeah, uhm, the show is about them being 'Lost' in their off island lives. Its what the show is completely based on.

Its not my fault that you post a lot of nonsensical blabber.

Its been on at 10 before. If its such a big deal, there are plenty of ways for you to be able to watch it at another time.

What do you want to do, start a petition? Those will never get listened to by a TV studio ever again since Jericho came back to disappointing numbers after that whole thing.

The fact is that they have figured out that most of Lost's audience will follow the show wherever it goes, so they move it if they have to.

Grey's and Lost is a good block of TV for ABC, they are smart to put it together. Although I personally can't stand Grey's, I know tons of people love it.

Just watched the episode. What an awesome episode. I think either the episodes are getting better or by not reading the spoilers the peisodes seem more exciting and better. Or maybe both.

Gotta love Sayid shooting people.

    • Same Internet Archive seemed to grab the new version https://web.archive.org/web/20...d/Setup_MakeMKV_v1.18.4.exe Here's the link to an additional file it periodically downloads https://web.archive.org/web/20260213092148/https://www.makemkv.com/sdf.bin I think update's keys, etc. To manually trigger this update, put the sdf.bin file in the root of where the program is installed. When you launch the program it will pick up the file and import it. Typically put it here: C:\Program Files (x86)\MakeMKV\sdf.bin
    • Windows 11 KB5094126, KB5093998 bugging out Office apps but it may not be Microsoft's fault by Sayan Sen Microsoft last week released Windows 11 KB5094126 and KB5093998 as the latest Patch Tuesday updates. Following that the company also published the accompanying dynamic updates under KB5094149, KB5095971, and KB5094156. Although the tech giant did not acknowledge any major problems, some users online reported various issues ranging from OneDrive and Dropbox access problems, BitLocker recovery lockouts, to blue screens and BSODs. You can read about them in this dedicated piece. While there is still no confirmation about those problems from Microsoft the company has admitted to another bug which we did not report on. The tech giant has confirmed it has received reports of an issue in which certain third-party applications may be unable to launch Microsoft Office apps or open Office documents after installing the Patch Tuesday. This affects both Windows 11 as well as Windows 10. The company says the problem impacts a subset of applications that rely on OLE (Object Linking and Embedding) automation to communicate with Microsoft Office programs. According to Microsoft, affected scenarios involve third-party software attempting to open Office applications or documents from within their own interface. In such cases, the Office program may fail to launch altogether, or the requested document may not open. Oddly there may not be any error message, which probably makes the issue difficult to diagnose. The bug affects several Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and other apps in the Microsoft Office suite when they are launched through the affected software. These include tax and accounting software such as CCH Engagement and Workpaper Manager, dental practice management solutions like Dentrix and Softdent, as well as the popular research and reference management tool Zotero. Microsoft adds that other applications using similar Office integration methods could also experience the same problematic behavior. To understand the issue it is important to look at OLE, the Microsoft technology involved. OLE allows different applications to work together and share data, while its Automation feature lets one program control another. Thus this enables third-party software to launch Microsoft Office apps, open documents, and perform tasks automatically without requiring users to switch between programs. Because many accounting, healthcare, research, and business applications rely on OLE automation to interact with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Office apps, any disruption can break those workflows. As a result, affected software may be unable to open Office documents or launch Office applications even though the programs themselves continue to work normally. At the moment the company has not provided a permanent fix though it has confirmed that engineers are actively working on a resolution, which will be delivered through a future Windows update. As such additional details will be shared once more information becomes available. In the meantime, Microsoft recommends a simple workaround for affected users whic is to open the Office application or document directly rather than launching it through the third-party program. For enterprise customers and organizations managing larger deployments, Microsoft says an additional mitigation is available. Admins experiencing the problem on their managed devices are advised to contact Microsoft Support for business to obtain and apply the workaround.
