Don't forget that some of the Others were able to go off and on the island, so Locke being able to get off the island seems perfectly reasonable. It seems that Locke failed as the new leader of the Others and was able to successfully commit suicide, whereas Jack and Michael could not. Man that was great!

One other question: what of Daniel and the people in the boat? Did they teleport with the island or are they now stranded in the middle of nowhere? Oh me oh my.

Hurly lied to Walt that was sad

and Ben is the DEVIL, that guy is Jacob

Christian Shepard wtf, how did this guy get such a big part, I hated how he said its time to go Micheal

Season 5 is going to be awesome, wth is Sun doing going to Widmore**

you guys dont know if Locke died because he was a bad leader, he wasn't even the leader Ben's ****ing ass was

I think you missed some parts. Locke died in the future, probably after season 5 is what I would guess.

Christian was already explained. He speaks for Jacob. Which is what is going to happen to Locke when they bring his body back, I'm sure.

and Ben is the DEVIL, that guy is Jacob

Ben is freaking awesome.

I think John talked with Sun also. Possibly during that conversation John might have told her Ben killed the guy controlling the bomb on the boat. So the two people responsible for the death of Jin was Paik and Ben, in her mind of course. I still think Jin is alive and kicking.

and another thing, you know all the people on the boat when it exploded, why didnt they try to get on the helicopter, they could of put a lot more people on there

Sucks to be background characters. :(

After Locke blew the sub, they lost that ability.

I dunno, I couldn't tell if they were close enough to the island. I doubt Daniel is dead.

By the way, they were definitely alluding to the Charlotte = Anne theory.

Ben is freaking awesome.

100% agree. Benjamin Linus is one awesome character.

Lets have a discussion on the time travel device itself.

There were a lot of Hieroglyphs on it, so possibly an alien source? Cause tribal community obviously needed instructions to construct that device. Pretty cool device too, I like how the light started coming out from the frozen ice. I think I remember some kind of similar device in a Resident Evil game, not sure.

Locke has a communion with the Island. If his body returns to the Island, the Island will surely bring him back to life, as it did with Jack's father.

Wow this Finale wasn't good enough for you?

That's not what I'm saying. The beginning of the episode was amazing. Then the greatness of it slowly declined. This was mostly due to the fact we knew what was to happen. The rescue was inevitable. The revelation of who was in the casket was not a surprise at all- something I'm disappointed they put as the final scene. The fact they have to bring them all back to the island is the biggest revelation and even then, Jack said this at the end of last season. In all reality, this season was probably my favorite despite it really getting us nowhere. It just built up to finish last season's finale.

The 'e' is NOT certain. could go either way 'a' or 'e', but Look Jeremy Bentham is a Famous Philosopher according to Wiki.

Why else would the writers chose that name? Comon just think about it!!! Huh?

To me, there IS a Reason the writers gone with all those Philosopher names!

Just like why they choose John Locke, a Philosopher as well, huh?

I think Logically and Common sense POV that 'Jeremy Bentham' Makes the MOST sense here!

The newspaper is DISTORTED so much, you CAN'T be sure of that. It looks like 'a' but since the Newspaper is distorted, so it's anything but certain! There I said it Twice, let me say it the Third time, It's DISTORTED!

As I said 'John Locke' the name was also a Philospher, so it makes MORE sense this name is a Philosopher name as well.

The writers of the show HAS a history of picking names who are scientists, philosopher, etc!

Told ya! ;) I didn't think he was John Locke, but was 100% Jeremy Bentham had to be the name!

Name reference to philosopher Jeremy Bentham

Jeremy Bentham (15 February 1748–6 June 1832) was an English jurist, philosopher, and legal and social reformer who was greatly influenced by philosopher John Locke. He was a political radical, and a leading theorist in Anglo-American philosophy of law. He is best known for his advocacy of utilitarianism, for the concept of animal rights, and his opposition to the idea of natural rights, with his oft-quoted statement that the idea of such rights is "nonsense upon stilts." He also influenced the development of welfarism. He became known as one of the most influential of the utilitarians, through his own work and that of his students. Bentham's position included arguments in favour of individual and economic freedom, the separation of church and state, freedom of expression, equal rights for women, the end of slavery, the abolition of physical punishment (including that of children), the right to divorce, free trade, usury, and the decriminalization of homosexuality. Bentham is also noted for having his body artificially preserved in a glass case after his death. His preserved remains are still on public display at University College, London. [2]

And, so...

Locke has a Son?

Edited by JediXAngel

Was just thinking in the leaked orchid orientation video that did the rounds on youtube it showed the casimir effect and at the end of the video it had 2 versions of the same rabbit, could Bentham be the product of the time/space experiments and be the displaced Locke while the real Locke is still on the island?

I dont understand what you are getting at, if you mean its Lockes son in the coffin and he was adopted why would he look exactly like Locke?

*edit*It doesnt make sense, if Bentham was Lockes dad surely he would be so much older than Locke not the same age.
