Something from Kristin

According to my sources, our Claire-bear (Emilie de Ravin) will not be a regular in season five, but rather she will be on a "holding contract." However, after her sojourn in the underworld, or wherever she is, she will return to us for season six.

I just found Michael Ausiello has left TV Guide, no more spoilers from him then.

Interesting. Kind of expected actually.

Ausiello didn't have any spoilers, so no loss there!

He'll be back in flashbacks

Lets hope so, i thought it would be a happy ending for him and Walt. Also Hurley lied to Walt!

It came to me just that Desmond's vision never came true. Claire and her baby getting into a helicopter

If memory serves me correctly, there have been no indications that someone could teleport from outside the island to the island (or elsewhere). There have been people who are on the island that would appear on other spots of the island, but to suggest that Michael may not have died is silly.

At this point doing flashbacks doesn't really serve much purpose unless it is about characters that have been explored only a little. It's been 108 days since the crash when the Oceanic Six wash up on shore. Given the timeline, the island moved roughly 101 days after the crash. What we'll see at this point is the aftermath of the island being moved (which can be considered present time since that's what we've been focusing on since the Pilot episode) in conjunction with flashforwards, which is post island events for those who did get off and are trying to get back. It'll be interesting to see how the writers tie the past-present with the future-present in regards to the story telling, because technically what we saw last night (the rescue, island disappearing, etc.) are past events.

Good point Peewee. I wonder if Desmond will have any more visions or do any more time travel.

I still think Season 1 finale trumps any finale so far but it was still good.

The donkeywheel was a thing I think that will either make people jump the shark or stay and watch and yes peewee lostfan was on the button for everything.

That's cuz you read too much spoilers before watching it!

STOP reading spoilers.

That might help! :)

BTW, OMG I am having A TONS of Lost Dreams!!!

just a quick observation but the man in the coffin doe not have the scar on his face that locke has......

While it's not as obvious, I can see a portion under his eye where his scar would've been. Corpses typically have make up put on, so it's not unlikely to assume that the scar was mostly covered, however, there's not much you can put past the writers of the show.

I think even if I hadn't read the spoilers I would still feel the same.

I really felt last night was one of my most Intense, suspenseful experiences ever.

And, the guessing (Not knowing what's going to happen) and suspense really really helped in a BIG way!

Every 5-10 minutes, something BIG was going on, really was a Spetacular night!

I am sure knowing all these spoiler would have lessen that experience!

The show, unlike Smallville and others, Have SO MUCH mystery, puzzles, and surprises it's just not a show to read spoilers on (Like 24)!

I think this IS the BEST Season Finale of Lost yet, so Suspenseful, Emotional, it's a Rollercoaster ride thruout!

I think even if I hadn't read the spoilers I would still feel the same.

You wouldn't.

For instance, you went in already knowing the 'mechanics' of how the island was to be moved. (Donkey wheel) You already had a predisposition that you wouldn't like it, and thus you don't. But if you had just watched it once in the context of the show, you wouldn't be as upset.

Well, I had hoped that the Lost season finale would experience a huge upswing in the ratings, but unfortunately that was not the case. What else was there to do last night aside from watching one of the best episodes of one of the best shows ever? Who knows. Anyway, the Lost finale averaged 12.2 million viewers over its two hours. That's up a little bit from part 1, but down compared to the ratings of past finales, which you can see below: Season 1 Finale: 20.71 million

Season 2 Finale: 17.84 million

Season 3 Finale: 13.86 million

Season 4 Finale: 12.2 million

It's kind of sad that eight million people have abandoned the show since the first season, but that sort of thing is bound to happen as the series grows more complicated and sci-fi heavy. Here's how the finale stacks up with the ratings from the rest of the season:

"The Beginning of the End" -- 16.07 million

"Confirmed Dead" -- 15.06 million

"The Economist" -- 13.62 million

"Eggtown" -- 13.53 million

"The Constant" -- 12.9 million

"The Other Woman" -- 13.0 million

"Ji Yeon" -- 11.87 million

"Meet Kevin Johnson" -- 11.28 million

"The Shape of Things to Come" -- 12.4 million

"Something Nice Back Home" -- 11.14 million

"Cabin Fever" -- 11.28 million

"There's No Place Like Home, Part 1" -- 11.43 million

"There's No Place Like Home, Part 2" -- 12.2 million

    • Uhm, that's every business ever, though. It doesn't matter if a bajillion users are using it. As long as it's not making bank, it's probably headed for the graveyard.
    • Yeah Patchou was an active member here, good ol' times indeed.
    • Samsung is the new Google... they don't care if millions of people are using it.
    • Still no word on Tides of Annihilation...... so weird that it wasn't shown at the big Game Fest. Guess I'll put it in the bin like Judas and Squadron 42.
    • Samsung is shutting down yet another app used by millions by David Uzondu Samsung has announced that it is shutting down Samsung Max, its VPN service used by more than 50 million people, effective today. Samsung Max VPN, if you don't know, was an Android app born on February 23, 2018, out of the ashes of Opera Max, a very popular data-saving VPN that Opera had discontinued the previous year. Samsung bought the discontinued service, rebranded it, and added a native Samsung UI to fit the Galaxy ecosystem. The app could do things like compress images, help you manage background data on a per-app basis, reduce video data consumption, shrink music files, optimize webpages, block advertisement trackers in incognito mode, and encrypt your internet traffic on public Wi-Fi networks. Image via SammyGuru If you open the app now, you'd be greeted by a shutdown banner warning that all VPN, data saving, and privacy services stopped functioning on June 15, 2026. The creators failed to provide a reason for the shutdown, instead publishing a farewell note that read: "Thank you for being with us over the years. Your support and activity truly meant a lot to us and helped shape this app into what it became." This same message appears on the Google Play Store listing for the app as well. Max VPN is the latest service from Samsung to join the list of discontinued applications from the company. Just two months ago, the Korean tech giant announced that it is completely shutting down Samsung Messages, forcing millions of users to migrate to Google Messages by next month. The only devices that the shutdown won't affect are older smartphones running Android 11 or lower. Some of the features of Google Messages that Samsung hopes will entice users include AI-powered scam detection to block suspicious links, integrated Gemini AI tools to generate quick replies, custom chat bubbles, and universal RCS compatibility for sharing high-quality media with iOS users. The platform also offers seamless syncing across tablets and smartwatches. In addition to that, users gain access to message scheduling, smart classification, and automated category sorting.
