Perhaps Christian Shephard saved both Michael and Jin. Perhaps they just showed Micheal and Christian talking and not Jin and Christian because Michael was beside the bomb. Really - what else could "go now" mean with Christian being there. Obviously something happened at the instance of time and not just some random event in which the island was saying goodbye?

honestly i think the whole Christian Shaphard saying "you can go now" was to let US (the viewers) know that Michael is really gone, without us questioning "well i thought michael couldn't be killed?" That's how i took it anyway.

Yeah I thought that it was like saying "we don't need you now" but of course there was no option to just walk away he had to die...thought it was awesome we had the whispers before it

Did Producers say that next season would be more of "Indiana Jones exploring" style on the show?

I hope so, because this season was mired in so much melodrama that I watched most of it half-asleep. Same thing with Battlestar Galactica. They didn't create enough plot, there's not enough going on. It's like you have to sit through half an hour of whining and exaggerated angst to see ten minutes of something interesting actually happen.

The whole Kate-Claire thing really strange... she got a phone call in her dreams (Sounds like from a Man (Who is it? Sawyer? Locke?) and then Claire warning her "Don't you dare bring him back" Kate then wake up and tell Aaron "I am so Sorry" twice...

When I heard this, I said that the message has to be reversed, and sure enough I was right (not like it's that hard to tell though)

As posted a few pages back:

Reversed phone message for Kate

"The island needs you. You have to go back before it's too late."

Well, we know that when 'Bentham' dies, it's a few years after the occurences on the island. What if something happened on the island again, causing Locke to go turn the frozen wheel, thus moving the island again, and causing Locke to shift the same way Ben did? After that, taking a fake name to protect himself, and the rest of the island... Warning the Six that they had to go back because of what was happening.

Unfortunately, that didn't seem to end well for him.

Just another theory, really.

Was the John Lock in the casket at the end of the season finale? What were they calling him, Jeremy something... wtf is up with that I wonder....

Certainly looks like Locke and Jeremy Bentham is probably a future alias because people would know who he was if he used John Locke.

Check Lostpedia John Locke (Jeremy Bentham)

You DON'T need to spoil tag that anymore, that's already been aired long time ago and it's not a future spoiler...

True... Habbit I right something in a spoiler tag if someone asks a question is a spoiler tag.

Overall i am very disappointed in Lost and i think after Season 5 they should kill it because it is becoming a joke. No wonder the ratings are going down, its because people are getting bored of it.

To each their own.

Rating are going down for many reasons, I say 10pm for last past weeks was a Significant reason for the downfall of viewship. That time was WAY TOO late for people!

They NEED to go back to 9pm!

Then, some people are just going to Hate the Sci-Fi element of it... 'Too confusing', or 'Show is Too smart (or Too weird) for me'... Yup, I def. heard those at work!

It's definitely not a clear sign the quality of the show has gotten worse!

I wonder if the island got transported somewhere with a radically different climate. They could have a Crysis style season... :p

Hah, yes! The Island magically appears near the North Pole in the Arctic Ocean... Damn. Too bad Ben took that parka from the Orchid, they could've used it.

I was speaking to my mate earlier and said it would be funny if the island just appeared in the center of London or New York

Finally watch the finale and what an ending. It is annoying that we have to wait ages for the next season but it just throws even more questions :p

Why did that bloody orientation video have to cut off. It was hinting that the "time travel" isn't as simple as you'd think.

    • Well I've done a grand total of nothing, and it now clocks between 2010mhz and 1995mhz (stock is 1710mhz) and hovers around 80c, warmer than it used to, but tolerable clocks seem to have returned. Thanks for all the advice on this thread. Will review the evidence and make a choice.

    • I really wonder if this has to do with the built in VPN or "private DNS" of browsers that trip up legal requirements like cookie consent and Cloudflare (to avoid all the botnet attacks we get). And BTW some botnets still manage to get past Cloudflare, we are constantly having to tweak it to block malicious traffic that ultimately cause a DDoS.
