To be quite fair I thought the season finale was rediculous and I love Lost... Worst episode(s) of Lost I've seen. The moving the island thing just topped it off, I thought that was pathetic (N)

I did like the nod to Mr Eko though :)

It's lost it's touch in good writing I think from the earlier seasons... it's as if low budget writers came in for part of season 4...

I did have a gut feeling when they tried to explain some of the mysteries of Lost, they'd either butcher it, or have silly answers.

:(

Hope season 5 will be a step in the right direction for me again.

I've got seasons 3-5 of the Wire to watch just now anyway, that's a great show (Y) Season 2 of the Wire was awesome!

Cuz I am wondering about the son, who (Is it Walt?) might it be?

That's strange, cuz Ben knows everything he should know that's Annie if she is indeed her... or maybe Ben doesn't really know everything? Or maybe Charlotte isn't Annie at all!

Weren't we supposed to have a Ben-Annie episode this season?

Again, weren't we supposed to have a Ben-Annie episode this season?

Very unlike mike being alive as he was right there when the explosions happen. (wired chris was there telling him its time to go,) jin is dead.... remember sun said her father and someone else was responsible for his death, iu think it was widmore....

can you blame ben or keamy for the boat explosion. Ben was mad, anyone would have done that, may be not in that gruesome way, but keamy was an ass for taking action in his own hands

i too found the finale disappointing, maybe because of the hype

i was looking for some answers!

Well I had a long day and fell asleep around 7 woke up and missed the first 15 min. i'm going to watch it on abc.com but the finale wasnt all that good. The ending wasnt all "wow" like the past 3 seasons were...

first 3 seasons we opened with an eye, seaspon 4 with a car chase. what would season 5 and 6 bring

To Sun, Jin is dead, but that doesn't mean he is actually dead for good.

Like I said, he was right there, his body his gone,(littery) jins may be burnt, or broken.....

shame they killed mike off, out of the 14 this season he was in what? 3? walt sure has gown

Yeah the actor was NOT happy about it at all!

He thought it was a waste of his time!

The show is getting boring. It's like they are playing a massive joke on everyone; making it more and more ridiculous and confusing and seeing just how many people will still follow, all the while laughing at the sheep who continue to attempt to make sense of the show whilst throwing darts at a random word target planning the next episode, which I predict will have, following the "<815 Passenger> <verb> <noun> with <non-815 passenger> <location/name of (new) Dharma station>" format, Locke fighting the smoke monster with Jacob in the Lotus.

It was an awesome episode, but god, answers are coming? What is wrong with them? I know cliff-hangers and all are good but we're all being played like a bunch of morons over the science fiction and the theories and such. They have better have one heck of an ending to explain everything that has gone on in the past few years. It may sound as though I'm ranting here, but I do love the show and occasionally be one of those theorists. But please people! I want answers!

    • Linux 7.1 arrives with an NTFS overhaul and major hardware performance boosts by Paul Hill The founder of the Linux kernel has just announced the availability of Linux 7.1. This is a stable version of the kernel that will now be tested by various Linux distributions before it is shipped to users through update managers. Some users, like those on Debian, for example, might not get it for a long time, if at all, while Fedora users can expect it in the near future. With Linux 7.1 out on time, the merge window for Linux 7.2 is now open, giving contributors the opportunity to send in major new features that have been waiting for the last two months. Torvalds warned that he is currently travelling and will be in another timezone, so timing for the merge window may be irregular due to timezone differences and limited internet access. Torvalds said that he has already fetched early pull requests to allow him to do some offline work, but the travel could still cause disruption. Right now, he is not planning to extend the release, but did consider it. He said he might later regret not extending, though. In terms of this last week of development for Linux 7.1, Torvalds said there were no major or alarming changes. This week consisted mostly of smaller driver updates to GPU, networking, and sound, networking fixes, trace tooling fixes, and misc minor fixes. The shortlog this week lists fixes for driver bugs, memory leaks, I/O and USB fixes, networking and RDMA fixes, DRM/graphics fixes, and tooling and verification improvements. Specific fixes include USB series heap-overflow and buffer overflow fixes, and multiple use-after-free, memory-leak, and refcount corrections across subsystems such as i2c, zram, gpio, and net. There are fixes for graphics drivers, including amdgpu, i915, and virtio, as well as hypervisor and virtualization tweaks affecting mshv, vmbus, and hyperv. According to Phoronix, anyone running Linux 7.1 should look out for the new NTFS driver, Intel FRED for improved performance on Panther Lake and future CPUs, faster graphics with Intel Arc Battlemage, and improvements for older AMD Radeon GPUs. If you are running Linux on your computer and everything is fine, then you don’t need to worry about updating to Linux 7.1 as a priority; just wait for it to be pushed to you. If you have tried Linux on hardware but it didn’t work properly, trying again with a distro that uses Linux 7.1 could cause Linux to work on your machine, thanks to the new hardware support.
