That Dave episode was just weird, i wouldn't put it down as a pointless episode. Didn't they confirm that Dave was a manifestation from Smokey?

I will need to go back and see that, thats the only episode other then R&B episode I have never seen.

In an unprecedented move, the Primetime Emmy folks have revealed the 10 finalists in each of this year's best series races, as determined by the vote of Academy members. And they are:

Outstanding Drama Series Finalists

Boston Legal

Damages

Dexter

Friday Night Lights

Grey?s Anatomy

HousLostb>

Mad Men

The Tudors

The Wire

Next up: The Blue Ribbon Panel screenings will be held and judged this weekend. Those results will be combined with the vote which begat the finalists to determine the five nominees for each category. All nominees will be announced the morning of Thursday, July 17. ? Matt Mitovich

It should be either Dexter or Lost.

Interesting question...did anyone like the Rose and Bernard flashback episode? or even the Paulo and Nikki one?

I didnt like the R&B flashback, but found the Nikki and Paulo flashback ok. Although that may be due to the dramatic naure of the episode. I wanted to see what killed Nikki, so that kept me interested.

But, I wont complain about that episode as - i) there was bit of a course correction by lost writers and ii) the omfg ending.

Interesting question...did anyone like the Rose and Bernard flashback episode? or even the Paulo and Nikki one?

Yeah, I liked them both... probably the R&B one a bit better. Which reminds me that I was watching Ally McBeal the other day and Bernard was in it.

Sayid drops a spoiler...

Do you know how will end the show ?

The finale will be on the island.apart from that, i don't know any thing in advance, This is what makes the job fascinating but frustating. I just hope all mysteries will be resolved in a smart way.

Do you make suggestions to the writers?

Rarely. During season1, i suggested that sayid lived a romance with someone on the island, and they created his relationship with shannon. But it wasn't very long...I would like my character to live a new romance in season5.

Emmy Nomination Revealed

Best Supporting Drama Actor

Biggest surprise among the stars missing from the Emmy list of semifinalists for best supporting drama actor is last year's champ Terry O'Quinn ("Lost"). Also snubbed: last year's nominee Masi Oka ("Heroes"). Other notable oversights: Donald Sutherland ("Dirty Sexy Money"), John Larroquette ("Boston Legal"), Henry Ian Cusick ("Lost") and Robert Sean Leonard ("House"). Please note that there are 11 names listed, not the usual 10. This must signify an especially close result in the popular vote.

BEST SUPPORTING DRAMA ACTOR

Naveen Andrews, "Lost" ("The Economist")

Bruce Dern, "Big Love" ("Good Guys and Bad Guys")

Christian Clemenson, "Boston Legal" ("Roe vs. Wade, The Musical")

Ted Danson, "Damages" ("Jesus, Mary and Joe Cocker")

Michael Emerson, "Lost" ("The Shape of Things to Come")

Zeljko Ivanek, "Damages" ("I Hate These People")

T.R. Knight, "Grey's Anatomy" ("Freedom, Parts 1 & 2")

William Shatner, "Boston Legal" ("Mad About You")

John Slattery, "Mad Men" ( "Long Weekend")

Blair Underwood, "In Treatment" ("Alex: Week 6")

Jake Weber, "Medium" ("Wicked Game, Part 1")

Just finished watching Season 2 earlier tonight (Y) Why do they have to keep killing off the hot girls! (N)

Anyways, episode Dave and Fire & Water really were terrible episodes. Dave especially. Why they bothered bringing up the past of Libby in the hospital with Hurley is a little odd. Seeing as she died before he remembered where he had seen her before. I guess that might unfold in the next season?

Will be starting Season 3 later tonight anyways :) I really liked the way Season 2 left off, the last few episodes really saved it.

Sci-Fi to show Lost Re-Runs

We still have months to suffer in anticipation before the fifth season of Lost kicks off in 2009. While we all patiently wait to find out where and when the island teleported, there's a variety of ways to rewatch the first four seasons of the series. There are the DVDs, with the fourth season hitting stores on December 9, and you can also watch every episode through iTunes, ABC.com or Veoh.com. However, if you long to rewatch Lost complete with commercial breaks and a lengthy wait between episodes, you'll be happy to hear that the Sci Fi Channel will begin rerunning the series on Monday, September 15.

The series will kick off its first cable run on September 15 with a block of four episodes beginning at 7pm, and will continue to run in four-episode blocks every Monday thereafter. Even though I see no reason to watch the show on the Sci Fi Channel when there are so many better options available, it's definitely a perfect fit with the network's brand.

    • I really wonder if this has to do with the built in VPN or "private DNS" of browsers that trip up legal requirements like cookie consent and Cloudflare (to avoid all the botnet attacks we get). And BTW some botnets still manage to get past Cloudflare, we are constantly having to tweak it to block malicious traffic that ultimately cause a DDoS.
    • CPPC states can also be messed around with in most UEFI settings but aren't as robust as the ones that the Windows Scheduler can provide! Make sure you look into what your motherboard also has before customizing for the Windows Scheduler.
