Another new build: http://my.opera.com/desktopteam/blog/ :)

Known Issues Fixed in this Release

* [bUG 284852] Wand doesn't save new passwords; old passwords should work properly.

* [bUG 278770] Gmail does not work on 64-bit.

* [bUG 281679] Bookmarks are not sorted correctly.

Other Changes

* Scrolling when GMail chat window open causes no more repaint corruption.

* Messages will no longer erroneously be marked as drafts or unread when upgrading mail.

* String.localeCompare now works correctly.

* Getters and setters now work on DOM interface prototypes.

* opera:config settings are correctly stored now.

* Files are now correctly saved with file extensions.

* Lots of SVG fixes.

* Lots of stability fixes.

Nope, doesn't work.

1. Collapse subforums

2. Refresh

3. All collapsed subforums are not collapsed anymore.

;)

Not only that. I can't collapse more than one subforum.

When I click on the '-' for another subforum, it just turns to a '+', nothing more happens.

Anyway, I've reported it as a bug. It'll hopefully be fixed soon :)

this build seems to be the buggiest release so far for me . crashes very often ( unixbuild ) and many bugs reported :cool:

I like it so far, and can't wait for the final release. The UI certainly doesn't feel faster than the official version of Opera (which is what 9.23?) I don't know how they're making that claim, oh well...

The only problem I have is that sometimes, when I click around pages, it will just stop, take 100% CPU power, and just freeze for 5 seconds. Everything else is looking good.

Yeah the repainting is annoying and I also get the freezing while browsing. Maybe it is related to RSS? I know in previous releases like 9.2 I would get a freeze while it checks all of my RSS feeds for new messages, and freeze upon opening the first time as I load and it retrieves RSS. But I am not sure if it is related, just an idea.

I might be wrong, after watching the habits a bit more, it doesn't seem to freeze on a regular battern of 15 minutes like my RSS feeds. But it does freeze again when first starting up and checking feeds, which was supposed to be fixed in the first alpha correct?

Overall this build is a bit buggier, but that should be fixed soon from my experience haha

    • Because of the EU (a good thing) newer android devices been getting 5 years worth of security patches. Except some Motorola which found the loop hole, and offer ZERO updates. In addition, Google for years have been making where it can patch some stuff by updating the core Google Play Store itself.  As echoed earlier,  you take the security risk in to your own hand beyond supported.

    • Yes for me, I installed 'old calculator' (Windows 7 calculator) in its place since it is more useful to me. I think paint is the only one I left installed
