VLC is skinnable but last time I checked the skins for it were crap.

lol yea all of them are pretty bad. One good thing about VLC is the low CPU usage tho. If you have a good PC tho then VLC is pretty much old news.

No need for codec packs, lightweight, and skinnable. Plays anything you can throw at it :p

I can't seem to find any docs on how to adjust the EQ on this rather than just choosing a preset. Any ideas?

JetAudio if you got sorround sound

Yes, I have surround sound so I will give this a try. Depends on what I get for the free version.

An other vote for KMplayer. Im amazed by it capabilties

But I use VLC alot more; don't forget CCCP codec pak if you watch as many movies as I do....

Press Ctrl+G or Settings-> Extended GUI

Vlc is great for videos, easy to reccomend :)

Just go WMP 11,the best for me

and no third party player

That picture is a bit misleading. That's the Vista version of WMP11.
