I can run this utility but after it open whenever I try to do something Windows gives me a message saying I can't do that because "Program is busy." whether I want to switch to or retry. It eventually lets me do things but this takes a very long time.

I also would like it if it could scan for driver downloads to replace Windows Update completely.

Actually Microsoft wont shut it down, as Microsoft have now removed there WGA from Internet Explorer 7.0, thus you can still use this. As for language vb.net.

I was thinking of just doing up some image background or something, and changing it, the colour I know is bad.

The problem with driver scanning, is they're so many different types of drivers available that it could cause some problems for people when it comes to installing drivers, even though the drivers would be the correct drivers there is always the chance of a mishap. This is only a first stepping stone, and more is too come.

    • Onwards to Windows 12 then lol.
    • There is a long thread (128pgs and counting) that I've been following over at ElevenForums that has a method for updating Secure Boot even if there is no BIOS upgrade. I've used this method and had zero issues. NOTE:  I do not take any responsibility if this or any other Secure Boot method bricks your system -- YMMV!  Read carefully before using!
    • Yes, yes, YES, thank you AMD. Now display audio, night light, cleartype, etc, all work again.
