I'm sure the battle with Doomsday will last like 2 mins and the buildup will be like 20 episodes. Clark will probably say "Chloe, I don't think Doomsday is evil enough to justify me fighting him. Let's just wait and see what he does first and if I'm still alive, I'll talk to him about it and then maybe try and take a swing at him." That sounds like the Clark we know!

Smallville inspired me years ago to write my own version of Superman. I can say that it is much darker and realistic and shows how Clark becomes not only a man, but Superman. In Smallville, it seems that Clark is just content being who he is and doesn't want to do anything. He's pretty much a bum.

There are many ways to do Season 8 really good... IF the writing is good. I tell you, I can see a lot of us fans write BETTER plots than these pro writers!

I don't get the writers on Smallville. They Need to be FIRED/Replaced!

I agree with you guys, I feel now that the show could be so much more. I wonder if being on CW/WB has anything to do with where the show has gone. CW harldy has any decent shows anymore and used to be a big family station.

How old is clark supposed to be at this point?

Yes, the writer is definitely sux. C'mon! Clark Kent aka Superman. So far he has done nothing but complain. He always let other people do the dirty work and just sit in his farm house and doi nothing.

Even Kara wanted to teach Clark how to fly and he doesn't want to. WTF!! He is a chicken****. I know Superman and Lex can never be friends but in the end Lex turns out to be the real bad guy is Clark's falut. He has never trusted Lex and Lex always found out about truths the bad way.

The drama between Clark and Lana has finally ended. I wonder if Lana is coming back next season.

o btw, the finale sux.

Oh man i agree with every word...this show had potential...but the writers sux the life out of it....The made Clark ask Supperman into the biggest ###### super hero ever..

Clark has learned nothing in 7 years! He's just content with being on the farm. The writers really make him out to be the world's most reluctant hero, and I've seen reluctant heros like Ben Hawkins in Carnivale, but he even embraces who he is finally and does what he's supposed to. Clark on the other hand...nothing. What's wrong with him? Someone give him some red kryptonite. Hell, better yet...give him some black kryptonite and make him a true kryptonian who obeys his father. At least then he can fly.

I know if I was Clark, I would have finished my training at the Fortress and destroyed Brainiac long ago. I also would have taken care of Bizarro by grabbing him and flying up and tossing him superfast through the atmosphere straight into the space aiming for the Sun. I think that would have killed him.
