So 12.7 Million people just watched a giant ford commercial lol. I liked it but its on par with the sarah conner show, dont see it going past 1 season, sure its neat n all but its the double spoiler that ruins it for me.

I got mix feelings on it and alot of people dont care for this and was kinda of hard getting use to a a new kitt voice one that we all know.I perfer the original kitt voice and the original kitt car but upgrade not the mustang one.Oh Think the ratings are going to be decline because they are always high on the pilot episode then they decline if this series does get pick up which I think it would but perfer it to be a mini series that way it do better but if it does get pick up as a series I dont see it getting pass at least a season two but got a felling it may have a season two but that as far as it may go.

Thought it was alright, the CGI scenes annoyed me a bit - good to see the Hoff in it.

Radish?

Just watched it and i can say i don't think i will be watching anymore. The CGI parts annoyed me alot. Why do we need more CGI shows, it reminded me of the new Terminator series.. CGI everywhere. Plus the theme tune to the start was crap. The original song was better.

Next be new A-Team, Airwolf...? I mean stop it now! The chase scene made me laugh a 500BHP car being beating nearly by that Ford.(bad guys)

I felt like I was watching a giant ford commercial.

Not excluding the fact that their was TONS of Ford commercial during Knight Rider....

And everybody seems to drive Ford cars in that show....

And I just HATE NBC with their F*cking semi-transparent logo and add for the next show on the bottom left of the screen, it's big and annoying. They do that ALL the time now.

I was very disappointed with it..

The CGI was ****, and since this is KITT 2 you would have expected it to be more of car KITT 1 was, but no...

felt like watching low budget movie.. and I mean LOW budget...

at least Hoff was in it.. :p

Well, overall it was good. The change from a Pontiac Firebird KITT to a Ford Mustang KITT, well, they selected the only American Pony car available at the moment. My guess is that GM paid enough money on their giant Transformers add and did not want anything to do with Knight Rider. It would have been a more logical move to go from the Firebird to the Camaro. And since NBC wanted to give away a couple of "KITT" Mustang Shelby, in order to promote the show, they had to select a car that would not break their bank, so forget about the Dodge Viper or Corvette.

The NanoTech in the show is a little bit far fetch I would say. The CGI effect of the morphing Mustang was not that bad, for a "made for TV" movie/budget, it was good. But yet again, I did not know that with "NanoTech" you could be able to create things that are not there.... Like the huge spoiler, or the fog light when it morph to a normal GT. Wow.... :)

And yeah, Hoff was in it, for 1-2 minutes at the very end. Will he be in the series (if it gets made)? I don't know. I would have expected a bigger role for him.

To hell with the NBC logo....

I liked it. The mustang is perfect since IT IS the iconic american muscle car, the CGI was less than ok, but they can change that easily. I just hope that for future episodes the characters have more depth and not only the classic profile of bad boy turn good (anti-heroe), and a beautiful scientist.

I hated the commercials though, but I guess that is because of the Ford sponsorship, hopefully for the series this wont happen.

I have a question, why did the car have to start up on the bridge. I didn't know they turned it off. As far as the pilot goes

1) The chase scenes were awsome.

2) The CG was alittle crappy

3) The look of the show felt like a really budget movie

4) The voice of the new KIT is restarted. I want the old voice back.

So some people at WP are trying to say that there is no connection between the new KR and the show Viper, because there are no reliable sources.

Anyone care to help with this?

What connection do you think there was? Viper was a lame-ass show, with no connection at all. The new KR is from the old KR.

And I just HATE NBC with their F*cking semi-transparent logo and add for the next show on the bottom left of the screen, it's big and annoying. They do that ALL the time now.

Them, and every station on TV in primetime for the last 2 years minimum.

For anyone thinking the car is too "regular" and they should go with a sexy high end car or concept car.

part of the idea is that the car can blend in and e anonymous. It'd be a bit hard to hide some badass concept car with a paintjob and some small added airintakes don't you think ? didn't anyone teach you guys it's what's inside that counts :p

    • Free Software Foundation Europe pushes EU to force Google to allow AI uninstalls on Android by Paul Hill Credit: Pexels Users should be able to fully uninstall AI-based features from Android devices and be able to access interoperability functions, free from Google’s verification requirements, the European Commission has heard as part of an Android interoperability consultation under the Digital Markets Act. These measures were proposed by the Free Software Foundation Europe (FSFE) last week when it submitted its documentation. The FSFE noted that Google had started silently installing AI models without telling users. It noted that the EU’s DMA requires companies like Google to allow users to uninstall pre-loaded software from their devices, but in the case of the AI models Google is installing, they reinstall if you delete them, contravening the DMA. To get Google back under control, the FSFE has told the European Commission that there needs to be improvements within the Android Open Source Project (AOSP). First, it said that users should be able to fully remove pre-loaded AI components from their devices, with companies being prohibited from silently reinstalling or reactivating them. Second, access to Android interoperability features should not be contingent on registration, authorization, or contractual relationships with Google. This pertains to Google’s attempt to force developers to register with Google, even to publish apps to alternative app stores like F-Droid. Discussing its submission, Lucas Lasota, FSFE Legal Programme Manager, said: Google is planning to roll out its Android Developer Certification in September 2026. This will force every Android app developer to register with Google before their software can be installed on certified Android devices, but it should affect those who have removed Google Apps from their device. The program is controversial because it entails the signing of contracts and payment of account fees to Google, as well as the handing over of the identities of developers. It said: The FSFE said that if the Commission’s draft measures remain unchanged, then Google will be allowed to make developers verify their identity. The FSFE believes that asking developers to register is contrary to the text and spirit of the law. In summary, the FSFE has told the Commission that no developer should need a Google account, a Play Store presence, or any agreement with Google to access Android’s interoperability features.
