[Official] NBC Knight Rider

I must be the only person here on Neowin that actually liked the show. No, it's not great, but it was fun to watch... and I actuality liked it better than The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

Everyone keeps comparing it to Transformers, though the show is really more like Viper than transformers.

Oh :x Episode 1. What rubbish. I won't be watching this show.

I'll probably stick around for a few episodes just because I'm a fan of the old series, but considering how the story started, I won't be around for much long :( .

I sort of like it, or I can perhaps like it, I'm not sure yet.

I liked the pilot, ubt I'm not sure the first episode with the major transformations was the way to go, even if considering what the car did and survived in the pilot, logically there's nothing stopping it from major transformations.

the truck transformation served no purpose though, and the muscle car thing was cheesy. I would have preferred a more subtle transformation like in Viper.

Still it can grow on me, as long as they keep the hoff away :)

NBC really only has 2 good shows left: "The Office" and "Chuck."

You forgot to add there "in my opinion" NBC offers a few other good shows like Heroes tho not as good as the first season is still really interesting and 30 rock probably on of the funniest comedies on telly imo ;)

VERY STUPID!

However, that girl's Hotness will keep me watching.

Oh come on get real. Its not half as bad as the original. If this makes you feel any better, the producers are working on a script for an episode to bring David Hasselhoff and the original KITT to the series. Google it and you'll see.

And yes I agree the girl is very sexy and hot.

Looks like she is the Best reason to watch

So guys are stupid. ALL the chicks in Knight Rider are hawt.

Did you see today's episode? It ended a couple of minutes ago, and OHH MAN. Hawties everywhere. It was like a modern and more realistic version of the Playboy Mansion.

Her Eyes are SO stunning!

 (Y)

I know (and used to like (but was rejected by her... 5 times)) some girl who has gorgeous light blue eyes, whenever she wears almost all blue, it just completely brings out her eyes (as if she isn't already pretty enough).

However, that girl's Hotness will keep me watching.

Is that all you think about?

It gives you something to stare at.

I have no problems with that :p . However, a series isn't a series if all it has is eye candy and no storyline. Which is why I'm still watching it and hoping that it might turn out for the better.

Sorry to offend anyone here who is a fan of this show, but last year I attempted to watch that season premier / movie thing, and I couldn't sit through the entire thing.

I watched parts of an episode from last night, and can only say that this is such a disappointing show. It is filled with bad actors, a really bad plot (but it is hard to write a script around a car) and bad scenery. I can't see this show going past a full season.

It got just over 7m viewers last night which isn't bad seeing as it was up against a fair bit.

1. CSI: NY (14.67 million)

2. Criminal Minds (14.51)

3. America's Got Talent (12.55)

4. Bones (9.82)

5. Private Practice (8.05)

6. Knight rider (7.56)

7. Dirty Sexy Money (7.15)

8. Gary Unmarried (6.98)

9. The New Adventures of Old Christine (6.86)

10. Pushing Daisies (6.32)

11. Lipstick Jungle (5.31)

12. Til Death (4.26)

13. America's Next Top Model (4.01)

14. 90210 (repeat--1.73)

I have never even heard of half of those shows... and they almost did as good as knight rider lol

    • I think I understood the article fine. Online password managers open users up to more possibilities of getting hacked, and due to KeePass being offline and local it reduces the idea of getting hacked. If someone chooses to put their database online they're kinda missing the point. With regards to the idea of the on-prem idea, I would have two issues. I'm not sure about the first issue, but I wouldn't be surprised about them offering a cloud storage for the passwords that most wouldn't bother to switch off, regardless of if they went for on-prem or not. The second issue is that the on-prem solution for Bitwarden costs money, whereas KeePass is free and open-source (as far as I am aware). The article points out how to sync the database between devices, and I recognise that deficiency in security. But it isn't a necessity. So both services can offer a same idea, but one is free and the other isn't...choices, choices.... But to each their own.

    • I am not surprised because life is the product of a lot of biochemical and physical processes that releases various energies as a by-product. The only thing new here is the detection of these photon emissions. The researches noted this "glow" is not a metaphysical one. They don't even immediately end when one is dead. Things like fires, light bulbs, and on a bigger scale stars release a lot more "light" and they are hardly alive.
