EN6600 GT Vista drivers

Hi there,

is here somebody with the same graphic card (EN6600 GT, 256MB, SIL) who runs Windows Vista?

I have several problems and i think its a driver issue. Most of the times the screen turns black and then Vista comes back with the message "video driver not responding". Other times the screen remains in the black screen so i have to restart.

Which driver do you guys use for this card?

Which driver are you using?

Have you tried updating to 163.69 or the beta 163.71?

If neither of those work look around on laptopvideo2go and try an older one.

i used the Microsoft Vista Driver and i also have installed 163.69.

When i start the computer, i see the loading vista screen and then the screen stay black.

So, i start in safe mode, uninstall the vista driver, and restart the computer again.

Then i am able to start Vista in the normal mode.

When i install the vista driver again, and i will restart again, the computer wont start up anymore ( black screen )

I think i have to go back to XP. :(
