probably Caprica might be interesting but as many said, its more focused to characters development and stuff. Probably might have a long dialogs and no action at all (but I think they will exchange that action scenes with another kind of (sex) actions). I think that series might be boring. Dunno. By now we have galactica and to me whats make this show interesting is that has a military-civilian point of view and probaby we wont see that on caprica (where for sure all will be pointed to civilians and their 'boring' lifes) ...

There seemed to have been a lot of political instability in the 13 colonies, prior to the first Cylon rebellion. Who knows, we might see some human-human space combat. I think the show has a lot of potential. On one planet it may be peaceful and prosperous while on another, it'll be the worst of the worst.

Do you mean the 12 of 13? Because the split between the 12 and 13th occurred thousands of years prior and 50 years ago or today, Earth is still in the same condition, unless I missed the timeline that was spelled out a few weeks ago.

In regards to the show Caprica, I watched the trailer and there was nothing at all that seemed appealing.

Hahahaha! I meant 12, not 13. My bad.

Aren't the last 3 episodes one big episode? The first part will be broadcasted to us and the last two making a big 2 hour one? I wish they would just do a 3 hour episode all together like the pilot was.

I think the 3rd is the two hour one, thus making it 4 hours.

If the last three episodes are one big episode cut up I think I will wait a week and watch them together, far better viewing that way.

And maybe it was just me considering some of the replies here, but the minute they said Daniel was an artist sort of cylon I immediately assumed it was Kara's Father since she has, even before going a bit looney with it, painted stuff and things that guided them.

Can't wait till the final episodes though, they better explain everything in detail, but its always sad when shows finish. :'(

Hmm... very slow episode. Nothing significant was revealed. I assumed from the start with all the Opera House flashes, we would get an answer on that. Guess not...

Kara is still mysterious - just Gaius's obscure answer, that she's an angel.

So, it seems the last two episodes will contain everything we need to know...

i thought Sam was going to jump the ship at the end

Me too. :p

It was a great episode. It's nice to finally see Adama letting go of Galactica. The ship is literally falling apart from inside. Anyway, the beginning was nice but they didn't follow up on it. A six was arguing with a technician and she ends up saving him. It would've been better if that same technician mentioned it to Adama or something. And what's up with Anders? I was hoping he would get back to normal.

Dudes, slightly off-topic but I bought all the Battlestar OST's the other day and I had a question for ya'll.

Any other Music similar to battlestar galactica anyone knows of? Specifically, Storming New caprica?

Thanks :)

Heh, I'm a sly old bugger! While chosing music for the wedding, the time when people are mingling upon arrival and during photos, we are having sort of chamber music...

There's one BSG track in there, and she won't even know (Pasacaglia). ;)

Wow! That's a great song. Two other great songs are Kobol's Last Gleaming (Season 1) and The Shape Of Things To Come (Season 1). The latter song is similar to Passacaglia (Season 1). As you can imagine, my favourite OST is Season 1.

I love 'The Shape of things to come'

Hoping they add the piano version of the final 5 theme to the season 4 ost as well!

With regards to Kara/Starbuck, I think people have forgotten that Simon harvested ovaries from her back in the frist season I believe. That was never explained (that I remember) nor referred to again in the series. Perhaps this has something to do with her magical return? Who knows at this point.

Great point LOC. I too forgot about that. As for Romo Lampkin, he's in a bunch of shows. The actor, Mark Sheppard, was in Dollhouse, 24, CSI: NY, and Monk (just to name a few).

Well I went and spoiled myself....I debated a while whether I should mention it here but here is the ending, don't read unless you want to entirely spoil the finale:

Includes images from last scene of final episode, so be warned!

The planet the Galactica crew found in the mid-season finale was "Earth," but the survivors of that disaster had traveled elsewhere and founded a new planet, also called "Earth" ? and that second Earth was the planet where you and I are living now.

Here are images which confirm this, with Number 6 standing in present day New York:

Hah, I knew it! That's the reason why they didn't show any of the continents from orbit when they found "Earth" in season 4.

    • Yup, broke my comp… again. its times like this when I regret AMD. This just never happens on NV.
    • Huh? You're delusional calling the Steam Deck dead. It is so successful that it has sold out multiple times. Even after the price hike this year it sold out again with 24 hours of being back in stock. The demand is real and has not died down even after four years.
