It's an illusion, looking the picture rom the top will make it look clockwise, looking it from the bottom make it look anti-clockwise...

I don't see how it can tell you what brain side you are using...

Its not where you look at it. Its how your brain looks at it. Just because you look in position x of the pic, doesn't means someone else looking there will have the same result.

EDIT: wow, weird! staring at the feet a little while and suddenly the image turned anti-clockwise. very trippy and when I blinked it was back to clockwise, but it was strange experiencing that sudden cognitive shift !
