LOL @ the Cursors you posted up.

Does anyone actually use those ridiculous looking things that are excreted from the anus of "CursorXP" ?

PS: Yeah I hate everything. :p

Ever think it's time you matured up and moved on. It gets really tiresome to keep seeing you troll in this thread. We get it, you don't like the harmony suite.....stop posting your opinion already.

Didn't somebody test this? I would buy it but since there's no "demo"...

Any theme will have its all programs content margins altered by different language systems even if the author does not use a bitmap. The number of letters that make up a particular languages "all programs" will push the arrow over further, there is no way to compensate for this. It is very easily adjusted in Skinstudio (Free) using content margins.

Yes, both Xp and Vista versions are tested thoroughly during design to be as flawless as possible on a variety of systems and in different languages.

I don't know why people still think that they can make a profit from charing for skins and themes, very few people are willing to dish out money for something that they will change out in a week or two.

Decent theme other than that.

Kind of reminds me of when I was in italy. Had to pay to use a public rest room..........

Still think? As Island Dog said, you would be surprised. What are you basing your opinion on exactly?

"very few people"? That is way off

I've made the "mistake" of buying this skin. After using it for a few minutes I found a few bugs and inconsistencies (WinXP German):

- The mouse over colors in the start menu are wrong in most of the substyles and make the selected items unreadable (see screenshot 2).

- The program icon in the upper left corner of the program windows is too far to the left. So the program icons are cut off in the maximized windows (see screenshot 3).

- The German "All programs" text "Alle Programme" is misaligned (see screenshot 2 - I asked about that).

- The text color on the tabs for example in XnView or Firefox is too dark (see screenshot 1 and 3).

- The skin uses four different fonts (Segoe UI, Arial, Tahoma, Microsoft Sans Serif). That is ridiculous designwise.

Overall I'm disappointed with this purchase. The screenshots looked much "better". Are these bugs and inconsistencies gonna be fixed?

That one I agree on. Have not really noticed that before, but now that I see it it looks wierd.! Take note my friend vStyler :)

Anyway, he is the only reason for me buying WB, and the skin Sexy. Just awesome!!

Thats all you could find to complain about? What do you mean are inconsistencies going to be fixed? lol

The skin is Green based. The substyles are basically a bonus, I have ZERO control over menu mousover colors..as pertains to the colored presets.

ALL I can do is make the color presets, WB6 does not allow for the changing of that color... not my fault. Its the same in any skin. I was nice enough to offer colored presets though even though NO other skins to date offer that. Used with the default skin color the menu mousovers are quite legible.

Next time I wont offer color presets :)

As to German menu mousovers.. I have already explained that in great detail in a previous post. Read back. You can easily in SKS adjust those parameters if it is that bothersome to you. Its a couple of clicks. I'm not going to explain it again as I have ZERO control on how it acts on a german system.

Lastly font choices are at my discression, most fonts are clearly visible in the triple screenshots on my site. I don't remember there being design guidelines printed anywhere as to what fonts to use where and this..also... can easily be modified by youself for personal use in SKS.

If these small things are all an obviously scrutinous person as yourself can find then I believe I've done well.

I appreciate you taking the time to point these out and giving me a chance to reply and thx for not pointing out how flawless it is everwhere else. ;)

There is nothing here I see needs fixing...that can be.

BTW, Andy... you use Vista... The only font used in the Vista version Is Calibri. :)

If anyone doubts the quality of my work, please head over to my site or wincustomize..read the reviews \ comments on this\all my themes, I assure you it's a different story than that presented here.

Had a bad day?

Again: Had a bad day? How should I know that this is WB problem? I'm neither the skin designer nor Neil Banfield.

I don't have SkinStudio and I can not install it. And there a many places to click in SkinStudio AFAIK.

Never heard of constructive criticism, haven't you? Your reply has a very arrogant tone. Instead of trying to help your CUSTOMERS you're bashing them.

Yeah whatever, I don't care about you people anymore.

lets get it straight.. customer your the only one complaining. It seems to me you tried your very best to go out of your way to bash the skin..as an extension of your comment on DA. well.. I answered you. Nothing I can do about anything you have posted... as explained. I'm sorry but that is just how it is.

I am currently working on two small issues that were posted that i CAN do something about, when I update it I plan to include a foreign language substyle. it will NOT look exactly the same as the all programs menu in the default version and frankly depending on your language the all programs mouseover will vary in its positioning, again there is nothing i can do about that.

Should be up in the next day or two on both my site and wincustomize.

If you put as much work and effort into your work as I feel i do and had someone come along acting so negatively you would probably be a bit short with them also..

as far as arrogance.. dunno.. maybe it runs in my family. Sorry

Purchase?!?

PURCHASE?!

    .

Not a chance bucko. It's a skin for windows, you won't see me buying it, even if it came in my favorite color of yellow.*

*(Which it doesn't so there's absolutely no chance.)

I have updated the theme with a couple of Vista fixes requested on WC, on XP I have fixed the small bug in maximized titlebar and added a non english version.

There is nothing I can do about the other couple of things (WB restrictions) and the fonts in my opinion need no adjustments.

It will be on Maxstyles and WC by Monday at the latest I hope depending on remoderation.

Perfect, thanks. :)

Updated SECOND time to fix Sidebar skin ! Sorry bout that. Make sure you do a "rebuild list" after installing it.

**UPDATED Nov 5 2007**

Added non-English substyle 'Harmony2' for XP

Fixed System icon positioning in Xp

Added un-dock button for XP

Fixed Dialog arrows in Vista

Added Vista Sidebar (Put this in the Stardock WIndowblinds folder and select and apply in Wbconfig.)

Please make sure the old versions are fully deleted before installing new ones.

Next time, I will buy all my skins/suites @ WinCustomize only. :(

    • Researchers claim Microsoft's quantum breakthrough is flawed by basic Python errors by Karthik Mudaliar Microsoft's aggressive roadmap to deliver a commercial quantum supercomputer by 2029 has now hit a bit of a snag, and it's not because of a complex sub-zero dilution refrigerator, but rather because of a few lines of basic Python code. A new critique published in the scientific journal Nature argues that simple software errors effectively manufactured the breakthrough that Microsoft's foundational research claimed back in 2025 into Majorana-based topological qubits. Topological quantum computing, the path that Microsoft chose for its research, relies on creating and controlling "Majorana zero modes." These are exotic quasiparticles that theoretically offer vastly superior error resistance compared to the highly sensitive superconducting qubits currently being championed by rivals like Google and IBM. However, physically proving you have created these particles requires sifting through massive amounts of complex electrical conductance data to isolate a specific "topological gap." Because of the sheer volume of data, physicists rely heavily on custom software pipelines to process the results. This is where the Python scripts come in. Now, according to the critique, Microsoft’s data processing software contained fundamental programming errors that ultimately skewed the published results. By mishandling data arrays or deploying incorrect logic within the Python script, the software supposedly discarded "noisy" or contradictory data. Which is why it only highlighted the specific electrical measurements that supported the topological-gap claim. The researchers behind the critique argued that this makes the findings invalid, suggesting the heralded "quantum leap" was actually a false positive generated by bad code and not a product of groundbreaking physics. However, Microsoft is pushing back hard against these allegations. The Redmond giant has formally rejected the criticism, saying that it's just a minor anomaly rather than a fatal flaw. According to the company, while there may have been a minor oversight in the data parsing scripts, it does not alter the fundamental reality of their physical experiment. Just weeks ago, Microsoft unveiled the Majorana 2 quantum processor, a milestone so significant that the company boldly accelerated its timeline for a commercial quantum supercomputer from 2035 down to 2029. But the new software allegations reopen an old wound. Microsoft's quantum division faced a remarkably similar crisis when a landmark 2018 paper on Majorana particles was famously retracted in 2021 after independent physicists discovered the data had been inappropriately cropped. That historical baggage makes the current Python-related allegations particularly sensitive. If the foundational math and data processing for the 2025 breakthrough are genuinely flawed, the highly anticipated 2029 commercial timeline could easily be delayed or, worse, cancelled.
