Deckhand Posted January 14, 2003 Share Posted January 14, 2003 I formatted a while ago... and a message box came asking me to choose to make my files and folder private, i selected yes. Now, how can I undo this.. ? Everytime I try to access some files from another computer on the network, it prompts me for a password.. ?? Fonze Posted January 14, 2003 Share Posted January 14, 2003 these protected folders are in your My Documents folder. Right click on My Documents -> properties and go to the shareing tab, you should be able to uncheck private from there. do the same for other folders in your my documents folder.
