your gonna have to watch it. I heard Saw V ties in with all 4 films... I wonder if that is how it ends :/

Well we know there's one more (Saw VI) and there's always talk of Saw VII, so no probably not. But I'm happy though. I love the Saw franchise and I already have a date for the midnight showing Thursday night :woot: And I'll be there next year and the next and the next lol as long as they keep making them and they don't "jump the shark" I'll keep coming back.

I've tried to be as spoiler free as possible, but I think I read at some point that Saw V takes place immediately following the events of Saw III and IV (as they both fell during the same time frame)).

Just got back from the cinema.

Was a pretty good film. I'll give it 8/10. Some of the acting was poor at times and i felt that Jigsaw should of had more screentime and less flashbacks

But i can't wait for 6. What was in that box!....

"You won't believe how it ends"

Ya think?!? LOL!!

My seats were sooo horrible.. FRONT seats.. then some guy apparently had turrets and wouldn't quit shouting. Then I had a bunch of school girls sitting behind me going "I thought he was dead?!?" when John would appear in an obvious flashback.

I mean wow. I'm soo glad they tied up most of the lose ends from 1-4. Sooo what it all ended up to be was to frame Strahm. But uhh, he is dead, so? I love these movies to death but 6 HAS to be the end of it. Just has to. 6 will hopefully show what happen to the Captain, that girl that survived, what's in the "box", Jill, that woman cop with glasses, etc.

I think what was in the box was something to do with Hoftman.. Jill had said "I know who you are". Then at the police station she tells that officer that Peter is stalking her. Thus, making him look worst. ****. I think she is helping Hoffman out. LOL

Sorry for so many posts. So much to say.

Peewee -- I don't see how he would have gotten more screentime without it being flashbacks?

Also. I don't understand how Straham's first trap with the glass filled with water on his head worked. He was given NO rules whatsoever, and Hoffman said the trap was supposed to kill him. That does not sound very JigSaw-like. Hoffman knows he must follow the rules! lol

the reason it was suppose to kill him was the game started in the room when he took the tape recorder, it said dont go on or you will die. He went on so he was captured since he broke the rules and was suppose to die.Hoffman didnt know that Straham was smart enough to puncture his neck so he would be able to breath.

Also did any1 catch the mistake that they showed Jigsaw leaving the pen at the place where the fat man died (in SawI) with the barbed wire. But in Saw I Kerry said she found it at the place where the guy was burned alive trying to find the combo to the safe. I just thought this was interesting also i could be losing my mind and wasn't paying attention but i think i know what i saw.

Actually they didn't make a mistake, at least IMO. And I'll need to watch it again to verify.

But I think the pen was left there for Hoffman to place at Mark's trap (the burn victim).

How did Riggs die.. last time I saw he was trying to get up

He was shot by Detective Matthews, so he most likely bled out.

"Seeing an approaching figure (Rigg) through the door's grimy window, Matthews attempts to warn him off without success, then shoots out through the door at him with a gun supplied by Art. The shot hits Rigg in the stomach, but he still crashes through the door with one second left on the clock, releasing the overhead ice blocks and killing Matthews." --Wikipedia

One thing I just thought of, and it isn't a big deal, but the rating stating it was rated R for sequences of grisly bloody violence and torture, language and brief nudity. Did anyone notice any nudity? It isn't a big deal, I couldn't care less, but I am curious about that.

Hurmoth --- I didn't notice anything suggestive, much less nudity. LOL

I honestly hope the next director is better. Isn't he the one that edits all of it? I don't think he has directed any before?

About the ending, I was like everybody else --- uh that's it? LOL

We've got a few SAW goodies for those of you who are back in Jigsaw mode after seeing Saw V this past weekend. First, if you click over to BDTV you can watch the entire short film co-creators James Wan and Leigh Whannell collaborated on to pitch the first SAW film back in 2003. In addition, we've added two B-roll segments here (at the bottom of the page) that feature behind-the-scenes footage from SAW V. On the second roll you'll find something very interesting... could it be that the contents of Jill's box have been revealed?
