Version three (3.0) is a free upgrade to all existing customers, featuring enhanced security and a powerful, intuitive interface.

In order to upgrade from NOD32 v2.7 to V3.0, you just have to wait until the 5th of November, and then visit our website for download location and update instructions. Updates from v2.7 to v3.0 are FREE of charge!

Please note - v2.7 NOD32 will remain a supported product for the foreseeable future, as v3.0 is available to Windows XP and higher operating systems. If you are using an older operating system than Windows XP (ie, Windows ME, 98, 95, Windows 2000 etc.), you will remain using NOD32 v2.7 - no upgrade is possible to v3.0 for legacy operating systems.

there is a difference between resource consumption and on-access scanning performance....the noticed slowdowns with antivirus software is because of the scanning performance of an engine when files are accessed

I would love to see a comparison between NOD32 3.0 and KAV 7.0.....maybe I'll do one myself :3

What my question is this: KAV or NOD32 (latest versions for both as of 10/31/07)?

I am just wondering which is better. I am liking the new NOD32 screenshots alot. (Y)

I've never used KAV, I've heard it's good though.

All I can say is I've been using NOD32 for over a year, and I've been really happy. :) Fast and light!

Alright, so this is a new day and my computer was off all night... still over 40 MB :blink:

I'm XP x64, perhaps that makes a difference for this program?

I think I'm gonna need a reformat soon.. either the new logmein or diskeeper has been causing me a lot of problem.

Guys, does NOD32 Antivirus V3.0 still have IMON (Internet MONitor in V2.7)? Or has it been removed and repackaged into ESET Smart Security V3.0 (ESET Personal Firewall)?

      All good features. But it is not an actual Windows app. I’d rather use the PWA. Meanwhile but versions - Classic and Modern - are full of bugs and inconsistencies. Yuck.

      Had one user who switched to new Outlook, could not send an email he sends weekly due to file size to large error, works fine in classic Outlook. Issue just today, user received a meeting invite, when she went to add the meeting to the calendar it opened up New Outlook (she has classic open) and we could not add the invite to her calendar, We had her switch to New Outlook, it crashed when we tried to add the invite. Still hot garbage.
