Chuck

I have to wonder about what linda showed chuck. She isn't bad as she helped them escape so is it possible that what she showed chuck did not remove the intersect but was something else? Possibly an intersect DLC.

It's the PSP2! Now it comes with its own Intersect! :shiftyninja:

Intersect DLC.... Interesting concept there. I think the device she used was either an upgrade to or neutralized the intersect temporarily. I can't wait until next episode to air.

I agree, I think it was more of a temporary deactivate, so Chuck couldn't flash and fight back (and potentially get killed) against Volkov at the end. I think either the computer in Ellie's car (which could be why Linda mentioned the car to Ellie, so she would find it and lead Chuck to it eventually), or through some other means (such as we saw in the preview), will re-activate the intersect. I have my doubts about it being an update of sorts, I don't think it would have made Chuck unable to flash if it was.

Either way, Chuck will get the intersect back even if he father is gone for good (you never know though, he might not be dead just yet, just like how Shaw survived multiple bullets to the chest without a bulletproof vest). We may go through a few episodes of Chuck learning the spy life without the intersect, but it will make him that much better at being a spy once he gets it back.

After thinking about it a little and looking at a preview, I beleive the effects displayed from the device Frost used on Chuck were similar to the effects displayed when Chuck had the first Intersect removed from his mind. I am wondering if the device may have removed it completely from his mind. We will find out soon enough.

  • 2 weeks later...

this show is hilarious. can't believe its still on TV.

i like it but it doesn't have much to stand on.

I wouldn't say its the worst but certainly not anything to write home about.

Well you called it hilarious, is that not something to stand on? It actually has a lot to stand on, but I enjoyed your contradiction :-]

    • It use to be a nightmare, with LibreOffice supporting a newer draft ODF standard by default, and Microsoft Office supporting the older non-draft standard. Now that they both support the same version of ODF, they should be interoperable.
    • Brave Browser 1.91.171 by Razvan Serea Brave Browser is a lightning-fast, secure web browser that stands out from the competition with its focus on privacy, security, and speed. With features like HTTPS Everywhere and built-in tracker blocking, Brave keeps your online activities safe from prying eyes. Brave is one of the safest browsers on the market today. It blocks third-party data storage. It protects from browser fingerprinting. And it does all this by default. Speed - Brave is built on Chromium, the same technology that powers Google Chrome, and is optimized for speed, providing a fast and responsive browsing experience. Brave Browser also features Brave Rewards, a system that rewards users with Basic Attention Tokens (BAT) for viewing opt-in ads. This innovative system provides an alternative revenue model for content creators and a way to support the Brave community. SlimBrave Neo takes all the good things about Brave and makes them even better by keeping everything clean, light, and privacy-focused. It removes the extra clutter, turns off features you might not need, and cuts down on anything that could slow you down or collect unnecessary data. Because it relies on simple settings and policies instead of modifying the browser itself, you still get full Brave compatibility—just in a smoother, lighter, and more privacy-friendly package. Brave Browser 1.91.171 changelog: General Fixed Cardano not being disabled on upgrade to Brave Origin. Upgraded Chromium to 149.0.7827.103. • Hi. As the title suggests, I can't access the forum on my phone. I'm using Edge on Android and when I try to navigate to the forum I get a "we value your privacy" popup and none of the buttons are clickable. It effectively stonewalls me from reading any forum content.
    • Honestly you're not wrong about AdGuard. Neowin frequently has lifetime license discounts for them and that's how I got my cheap family license a few years ago to run it on all my devices.
