As I've found out, the cheeky buggers. If it weren't for the fact that I had to end up paying the difference for my new headphones with my parents' PayPal account (don't worry, they know; and I'm paying it all back when I get my EMA on Saturday), I'd have been overdrawn by now.

Your always buying headphones :p

Your always buying headphones :p

Technically, I'm exchanging here. But yeah, this will be the sixth pair of headphones I've bought (I've had two or three others before, but sent them back as they weren't that good).

Happy birthday, BTW! :)

Right, Very are officially a bunch of ****ers and by far the worst company I've ever ordered from.

The Microsoft Points came today, and they've charged me the full ?19 with no ?15 refund in sight. I logged into my account to check the order, and guess what? The account no longer exists! My second account exists though (which I used a different email address for), and the order appears on there with just the free delivery code there. I didn't even confirm the order on the second account, the thieving gits!!!

I've arranged a return, so I have to wait for someone to pick it up now. I haven't opened the points, thankfully. If I could find a way of opening it up, using the code, and then resealing it again to look like it'd never been opened, I'd bloody do that right now. :p

Will they be charging you for that?

Thankfully, not. I saw on my Twitter feed earlier one of my mates is ticked off at Very as well, but not for the same reason I am...

very.co.uk can die in a fire too. A month for a ?20 PSN card? Sorry. It's a piece of f***ing paper with a code on it.

Hey, I was thinking of getting an Xbox 360 soon and I currently have saved up $116.68. I want a reliable console that I can use to play movies and everything since I have a Zune subscription. I heard Jasper models are most reliable, but I also want a fully functional model that isn't banned from Xbox Live. I want one that's very expansive so if I ever do start to like to game more often, I could add on to make it as good as an Elite model with the large storage and all. But anyway right now I think an Arcade would do. Does anybody know of a place I could get one that's like that? I don't think I care too much about if it's not completely new and is on eBay, as long as it's in good condition and is reliable so I can have fun with it, I'm happy.

Until Microsoft offer USB memory stick support you will also need a memory card or harddisk to use with an Xbox Arcade, as you wont be able to save games. The offers now days for a console with hardisk and games are very reasonable and well worth taking up.

Just fyi, but this topic is for UK members only.

USB support is coming this week (the 6th) which will let you use up to 32GB space with 2 devices. MS have partnered up with SanDisk to sell licensed memory sticks too, but you can use any brand you like.

I think we need a mod to edit the title to say that it's UK offers. Then maybe someone could start up a US version? Same with the PS3 and PC ones as well (the PC one would be the other round though, as the one currently up is a US one).

I can edit the title to whatever I like right now. Don't need a mod. I'll add a prefix with UK tags.

Members have wanted a US topic for a long time - since I created this one basically. Useless us being part of it since we don't know the e-tailers inside out like we do in the UK.

Would require someone with a lot of buying knowledge to start it for the US members.

I'd buy new, less hassle if anything goes wrong, and it won't be banned, opened or a refurb.

I would post up 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa and Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Conviction at the same price but they are both showing as sold out. You are able to add them to your basket but you get a message in the basket saying:

Products marked with *** are out of stock or there are not enough in stock to fill your order.
Please change the quantity of products marked with (***). Thank you

Could be worth a try, but I doubt you'd get them on release day?

Add 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa to Basket Link

Add Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Conviction to Basket Link

^ just a tip because I talked about it with Evoman over the weekend, but Fable 2 GOTY is ?10 at Gamestation & Gameplay right now. Comes with all the DLC so it's the better buy.

Mass Effect ?7.93 at The Hut

Yeah sorry DM I forgot to post it!

Anybody have any idea if the supermarkets are going to be doing Fifa World Cup on the cheap like they have the past few Fifa games? Really don't want to spend too much on it but really want to get it.

My brother's in the same boat.

    • Sorry I mean your back rest on your Herman, can you move the back say 2cm then lock it? Then realise 2cm isn’t enough and you want an extra 1cm then lock it into that position? Basically like in an older car seat, you turn the knob round until you get the back recline precisely where you want it, this is what I found the Herman wouldn’t do
    • WTF? I am not taking a video of myself to access a site or to create an account. What are they thinking? I don’t even have a webcam on my main desktop PC. The powers to be are really looking to normalize the taking of pics or submitting ID for everything. I afraid most people will end up just going along with it.
