Searching for websites!

Please give me some sites where I can study about space, galaxies, planets, etc. Study means a general description of every term, its explanation, what is it, how it works..and etc

My lecturers would kill me for saying this, but Wikipedia.com is a good place to start. They have a good description of a lot of astronomical object and phenomena in quite a nice, brief, easy to read style without being too complex imo.

No, wikipedia is not a good place to START at all. I am a beginner, I am a commerce student and I know less about science. So If I read on wikipedia, I first have to read its different articles regarding the terms. for example I have studied well about The Moon on Internet, I first went to wikipedia for Moon but then I searched different sites and I got my info. So please suggest e other sites which explain in easy style for begginers.

The only thing i can suggest is some kind of revision site for the equivalent of English A-level's to get a grasp of the basic physics behind astronomy, but I'm not entirely sure where would be a good start. This may be ok from a quick google I did:

Sorry I can't be more help at the moment. It's just that thejump from A-level Physics to degree level Astronomy and Astrophysics was a bit of a jump. I pretty much didn't do ANY astronomy before I started university, so everything I've learnt is from then onwards and isn't usually free. It is possible to learn about a lot of it online but it takes a LOT of reading around and getting to grips with the principles behind it all.
