Miran
Hey there, I have a Dell Dimension 4100 PIII 733 (Intel 815E chipset).. I was wondering, is it possible to update my flash bios using the intel bios instead of the Dell bios? The dell bios is pretty bare bones and I'd like more configurability. Anyone have any ideas? Also, while on the topic of hardware - the PIII chip is cooled with heat sink and chasis fan that fans the air directly to the outside of the case - nice but it is LOUD. I was wondering if I could just use a regular CPU heatsink/fan combo without too much heat gain??? I could still leave the sleeve that directs the air out of the case in place....... Thanx alot for any help. Craig
Spike
- You should update the Bios using Dell's bios flashing application. - Use a regular CPU heatsink!
