Terminator Salvation : The Future Begins

Recommended Posts

They should show more actual terminators less humans how they where created what technology they use where they make them what the future looks like etc that way they can steer clear from the actors and not having Arnold in the movie.

I would be interested then. Show the different Models of Terminator add some even.

Make some fights between terminators as seen in some footage of T2.

More is possible with Cg now so Go all out thats my bit.

This is written by the same guys that wrote T3. Even Bale can't save it from terrible writing. And really, they couldn't get a better director? Not to mention no Arnie. I know he's old and out of shape, but he's still the Terminator. This is pretty much guaranteed to blow.

Today we were supplied with the first official synopsis for Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins, which stars Christian Bale as John Connor and has McG attached to direct. Here it is! The film is about John Connor (Christian Bale), now in his 30's and soon to be wife Kate Brewster realize they must create a resistance organization with Earth's remaining survivors against the army of robots slowly being built up by Skynet. As they are building this resistance, one survivor happens to be a traitor in disguise, and has a secret that nobody would ever come to suspect.

Sounds a bit poor...

It would be awesome if it has Christian Bale! I loved American Psycho! That is one of the best dark comedies I've ever seen <<period>>.

I really liked T3 and all of the Terminators. I think the only Terminator I didn't like was the T2 extended edition. The extra scenes were just awful.

Warner Bros has set a May 22, 2009 release date for its science-fiction blockbuster Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins.

The film will go head to head with another high-profile tentpole - Fox's Ben Stiller sequel Night at the Museum II: Escape From the Smithsonian - which also opens on the same day.

The new Terminator's storyline takes place after the events of Terminator 3 and sees a group of nuclear holocaust survivors fighting against the malevolent artificial intelligence system Skynet.

Terminator begins filming in New Mexico on May 5. The movie will be directed by Charlie's Angels helmer McG and star Christian Bale and Australian actor Sam Worthington.

So, no Nick Stahl and Claire Danes.... And, no Arnold.

How much time after T3 is T4 taking places?

I suppose that Bale will play the role of John Connor? He is physically different to Nick Stahl....

Why is Arnold need anymore? He was just there sent to protect, robots won't have skin anymore.

I can't wait this is going to be great! :D

    • You are clueless. The updates are done in the background so the next time you open Edge the updates are applied automatically. There is no need to close all your tabs. Just keep browsing like you normally do. Clearly you don't use Edge and are just one of those haters that complain for the sake of complaining.
    • I don't get this David. Can you explain it please.
    • Microsoft is busy. Lots of changes to be released imminently for Windows server or soon. Also, lots happening for next version as well. Third party virus scanning software is being moved out of Kernel mode to avoid repeat of Crowdstrike incident. Windows Protected Mode and Windows Ready Print no longer require third party print drivers to be installed. New storage stack being developed. New NVME drivers now available for Windows Server 2025 to improve local NVME drive performance by 60+ percent. NVME-Of of fabric being worked on for next release to improve network access to NVME drives. ReFs (next file system) now has ability to boot and will become default file system in next release of Windows Server. ReFs improves on NTFS in several areas including resiliency and reliability and scalability. New update stack is being worked on to unify Windows updates, and updates for drivers and first party/3rd party application software. A stricter and more robust third-party driver certification program (ODI) is being worked on to improve performance, thermals, battery life, and reliability on modern Windows hardware by tightening how OEMs and IHVs (Intel, AMD, Qualcomm, NVIDIA, etc.) build and ship drivers. There is a tone more but too numerous to mention.
    • Now disable that stupid OneDrive backup request when Windows starts please. So unbelievably frustrating to only have “remind me later” instead of “no and never ask me again”
