Psychonauts + Xbox 360 controller

I need help mapping the buttons in Psychonauts on my PC. For some reason, when I click to reassign the buttons in game it would not allow me to do that. Everything is perfectly fine except this annoying controller problem. Is it due to the Xbox 360 controller driver? It's the latest firmware and it still will not map the appropriate buttons in game.

I fixed it. During the rare instances of me going into the game's system folder, I read the readme and recalibrated my controller. :)

Ugh... I can't seem to assign the Z axis to the focus and psychic power 1... Any help would be appreciated... :argh:

Since I seem to be replying to myself, I'll just post the final solution for people.

Go to XBCD+ site (alternative xbox 360 driver site):

Then download the profile for "triggers as digital buttons" and apply it:

(Right click and save as)

After all that, you can configure the triggers as buttons in Psychonauts.

Been there, done that.

How is it possible that M$ is annoying whatever they do?

Maybe it's just me who would expect that a controller comes with some software so you didn't have to waste any time.

I would like to ask MS why they haven't provided firmware like Logitech. It's utterly ridiculous.

Note: Logitech firmware allows custom profiles and button mapping.
