Yup, got my DivX Create the same way after a one day promotion last year have been able to get all of their updates too ever since. It's nice to see that they offer this kind of thing, its nice not having to pay in order to use the encoding features :)

i converted a vid using this divx pro, i used 'hi def' setting and converted it, it made it look worse and the sound went out of sync...
