Heroes Volume 3 : Villains

Recommended Posts

It's in the graphic novel "The Kill Squad - Part 3".

Wow...just started reading the online novels from the beginning and realized how much inside scoop I'm missing in between the episodes.

Why? It's not an actual season finale just the end of a volume.

Well, volumes are just as significant in their own way for the reason that Heroes doesn't really follow the traditional "season" type schemes.

Did anyone else notice in the episode where peters dad was laying on the ground after being shot he wasn't there anymore as if he got up and walked aware after peter knocked nathan out?

Now that you mention it, there probably could be at least two scenarios for this. Tracy might have managed to revive him by curiously removing the bullet. She seemed to have been the most loyal person to him at the time of his death. She also suddenly kind of disappears for a few times and pops of randomly, so that might somewhat explain it. Or, his body could be locked up/thrown out for good. Any other ideas?

Who's twitter is that?

It's the actor who plays the puppet master Doyle you can find it here, while I am at it Greg Grunberg (Matt Parkman) and Brea Grant (Daphne) are also on Twitter.

damit.................

season 2 just built up into season 3, then season 3 ... nothing happened. only thing it seemed to show was why ando was blasting hiro

*ideas clicking in my head*

wait a minute..... in that scene it shows hiro and ando arguing....but there arguing over the formula....which is gone....but ando's power is ability boosting........and....gah!

also..... ando + haitian = ???

heres season 3.

syler thinks he knows his mom, than he thinks he knows his dad, than he finds out its not actually his dad, than he finds out shes not actually his mom, than he learns that someone actually knows his mom and his dad....now he has glass in his head, and hes in a burning building. FIN.

Aurthur wants the formula, they get the formula, make the formula, formula dosnt work, aurther get catalyst, aurthur fixes the formula, aurthur dies, formula destroyed.

peter (supposed to be the best hero), loses his powers without even doing anything, has no powers all season.....gets powers back last episode.

I felt the episode was rushed, the whole "Hiro lost in Time" was rushed and it was a quick fix. Did feel a lot of stuff was cut, hopefully we get to see them when the DVD comes out.

Episode 3x13 Dual - What You Missed

Volume 4 - What to Expect!!

Basically stuff we already know

Hey All,

With Volume 3 Villains, everyone's attention has now turned to Volume 4 Fugitives.

The beginning of Volume 4 was shown tonight, but here are some more details of what to expect.

Thanks once again to Kristin's weekly recap.

1) Sylar is of course alive and of course we knew that because we have posted some set photos that prove it.

2) Apparently Sylar has a weakness, which is piece of glass placed in the precise place as seen in the Volume 3 finale.

3) Kristin confirmed the death she was talking about was not Elle and that the death hasn't happened yet. So it seems like the writers have changed their mind to give this person a second chance. (I assume she was talking about Tracy)

4) Hiro's will not regain his ability any time soon.

5) Eric Doyle The Puppet Master will return

Now that is some sweet inside scoop. What I'm most surprised is the point about Eric Doyle. Was not expecting that since I thought he died for good when Sylar overpowered his mind. From what it seems, did anyone actually die from the Primatech fire? It's starting to look more and more like everyone miraculously just managed to get out of there in the nick of time.

An excellent episode. However I did feel that alot of things were wrapped up a bit too quick. We have waited for ages for peter to get his powers back and kick arse. Then in the last 10 minutes he just injects himself, job done. Dunno, just felt rushed.

Roll on the next one! :D

Echo certainly died, with a slit throat and all :\

Well, I have just seen the episode and I am dissappointed.

I thought Season 3 was supposed to house twice as many episodes to make up for the writers strike of season 2?

I thought a lot more would be wrapped up in this series, for instance, Hiro must re-gain his power at some point because way back in Series 1, he teleports back to himself in the subway car. But now with the formula gone, I guess it won't really be logical as to how He can travel through time again.

I also don't understand as everyone seems to be half dead. When Claire had glass in her head, she died. Yet if Silar does return, then how did the glass suddenly come out of his head? Eric Doyle is dead, surely, although Silar didn't "eat his power" like he does with others, but what ability did he use to control Doyle?

What was that liquid that seems to have healed Suresh? Was that a large dose of formula or what?

I guess I was just expecting a lot more to tie in with what is going to happen in the future flashes we see as to why and how people become that way and how they are set up for the future. I expected it to be in this season as we saw a lot of future flashes, most of which now we didn't really NEED to see. I also thought there would be more with the eclipse. Yes, spilling in to two episodes was good, what happened was good tv too, but I was left feeling like I wanted more to happen.

All in all though, a good series. Better than series 2 but in my opinion, not as good as series 1, simply because the show producers/writers/whoever keep showing us things that happen far in the future when we don't actually need to see it as it simply causes many more questions than need be. Here's to series 4 though!

What tv show you are watching boy? :p

- "Season 3" isn't finished. Volume 3 is finished. Volume 4 starts in Feb and will be 11 or so episodes long. (so 24 eps for Season 3)

- Isn't that future gone? He only teleported back in time because the bomb went off.

- Sylar - I'd imagine that the glass melts in the heat of the fire and then he can heal again. :)

- Yes, it was the formula, and he got a mega dose of it as well, but he seemed fine. :s

- I'm wondering now if what we saw when Hiro went to the future wasn't the same future that Peter saw, but rather a future where all super powered heroes are cutting sick in revenge for Nathan / Mr President trying to round them all up. :)

Well, I have just seen the episode and I am dissappointed.

Season 3 isn't over. Volume 3 is over. Season 3 will continue with Volume 4. This series is supposed to be like a comic book with volumes and chapters. Volume 3's story is now over and Volume 4 will start.

That was from a future that could very well not happen now. So many things have happened because of future Hiro and future Nathan interfering that wouldn't have happened otherwise. The bad ass Hiro may very well never exist now.

I also don't understand as everyone seems to be half dead. When Claire had glass in her head, she died. Yet if Silar does return, then how did the glass suddenly come out of his head? We'll have to find out how Sylar returns, though it's plausible there are other "monsters" out there that want him to be set loose again.

Doyle's puppeteer ability still allows people to think freely. Sylar was likely using his telekinesis to fight against Doyle's ability and won. It's not hard to believe that Sylar is far more powerful than Doyle.

What was that liquid that seems to have healed Suresh? Was that a large dose of formula or what?

Yes, that was the formula.

I think that Hiro will try and attempt to regain his powers back next volume(by getting the formula again..), even though he might fail. Its still very possible that the future with Ando shocks Hiro will happen. Plus the future that the Earth gets split in two.

1. The formula isn't totally destroyed, I doubt ripping it in half destroys it.

2. Claire is still a catalyst, she came from a future where she was given it.

3. I believe Hiro won't stand around forever being Ando's sidekick , and besides, the duo of Hiro and Ando won't currently work(at least without Matt & Daphne), because Ando without anyone else with powers nearby, isn't that special.
