I can't say I quite understand the attraction of potentially violent fighting dogs. What do people get from them? To me it seems it's a bit like carrying knives or weapons when walking down the street. I tend to like easy going breeds.

Any breed can be deadly really, but you just hear more about the rotties and pittbulls most often.

It was almost 1 year ago when that little girl was killed by her Grandmothers rottweiler in Liverpool - obviously no lessons learnt here.

Kinda says it all about the kind of people/family they are.

Don't be so quick to judge. Just because the parent is a teenager does not mean they are irresponsible. Plenty of parents would leave their children within the trust of a 16-year-old.

Ostracizing a dog to the back yard is the last thing you'd want to do if you want your kids to be safe.
