jimf43
Put in a faster CPU  Sorry I couldn't help it :woot: Seriously, 128mb is the absolute minimum that you can use for W2K. Depending on your other hardware, it should be fine, but give priority to a memory infusion in the near fuiture. In the mean time don't plan on a bunch of multitasking. Joel
Based on where you posted this, I assume you are talking about Win2k server. I have one running on 96MB RAM, no problems. Server role only, you can go as low as 64MB. This is not a workstation, use it like a server would be used and you will have no problems.
ToastGodSupreme
1. I had Win2k Pro running on a Pentium I @ 100/100Mhz (core/fsb). This same machine only had 64Mb of ram. It ran fine. Yes, the Pentium had an unlocked multiplier, which is how I got it to 100Mhz FSB. 2. TWEAK. Read guides, read EVERYTHING you can on Win2k. Visit MSDN, etc. 3. http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/docs/...n2kservices.doc
