Photoshop DeSaturate Brush?

Question

Brandon    299

Is there a brush in photoshop which can desaturate in one click? I know there is the sponge tool, but at least in CS3, it takes 4-5 times to totally desaturate it

Well, you could just copy your color image to a 2nd layer, desaturate the 1st layer, and then use the plain old eraser tool on the 2nd (color) layer, thus revealing the 1st desaturated (B/W) layer.

BTW, here is a link to a superior (IMO) way to turn your color images into B/W. This PS action beats 'convert to grayscale' and 'desaturate' hands down.

I've put it here as it's probably the best place for it.
