Which LCD should I choose?

Recommended Posts

I plan on using it with my PS3 and watching the Toronto Maple Leafs lose, so the less ghosting the better. I'm assuming the Sony is the best of the three followed by Samsung and then Sharp.

Does the 4ms on the Sharp make a huge difference on ghosting or is that more dependent on the video processor?

The Sharp and Samsung both have an extra HDMI port, but I can always buy a splitter if needed.

The Sony might be the only one available in my area (I hope it's the best choice) as the Sharp is sold out and I think the Samsung is only available in Western Canada.

Sony KDL-40V2500

Samsung LNT4061

Sharp LC42D64U

Edit: I caved and paid a little more for the Samsung. I noticed the 40v2500 had some clouding issues and the Sammy's black levels weere much better. Thanks everyone for the advice.

Samsung. It's a set I actually didn't like, at first. However, after the unit at work had time to be broken in, the black levels are astounding for an LCD.

All the Samsung LCD's are great.

Really the leaders of quality and innovation in this market.

I just bought a Samsung LNT-4671f a couple of months ago and am amazed at how good HD material looks.
