True dat. We need to ban all HDTVs from society, and burn all existing ones. They are a threat to human safety, damn you to hell 1080p, DAMN YOU!!

Sound like a freak accident then trying to imitate the show. Sad though :(

The parents themselves are not calling for anything to be banned, its gonna be people who want to sell a story that will do that.

This is sad, but really its the parents fault. They should be keeping a watch on the kid.

Off topic but, I hate seeing kids walking behind their parents at the mall, no wonder why so many kids are missing. There's a lot of parents who shouldn't be, and age doesn't take part in this, i've seen 30-40 year olds let their kids wander. Shame!

Uh, actually yes I can say that parent was at fault. We baby proofed my house what I had youngins running around, and so could she. You buy safety door knobs (plastic covers for the knobs so you have to squeeze them a certain way in order to open the door), cabinet door locks, you lock the door. There are plenty of ways that parent could have prevent the child from getting outside. I didn't read about any safety measures taken by the mother in the "kid walking outside" article, so from the information presented to me, that mother was at fault.

But you're right about one thing, you cannot watch your childen 24/7. No parent will watch their children sleeping through the whole night. However, when they're sleeping is about the only time they should be unsupervised. There is no reason, none what so ever, why that girl should have been playing in her room by herself at age 4.

These recent child deaths are nothing short of horrible and tragic; but, they also could have been avoided if the parents were more diligent.

The animators showed the boy swinging around with a rope around his neck and body... comon dont tell me they arn't at fault also... they tried to show that was able to work when it wasn't... they know better... yes parents should be watching their kids but unless you have kids you know you can't watch them 24/7.... Cartoons for young kids shouldn't show bad things that could harm them... even loony tunes wasn't intended for young kids, it was more for the upper kid age range... this show is intended for 2 to 6 year olds..

I do remember watching loony tunes around age 3-10. along with:

Batman, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Spiderman, Superman, (holy Sh*t my memories gone) Power Rangers, i forget the rest. But let me assure you i did not ever not watch a violent show / suggestive show for hurting / doing crazy stupid stuff!

it doesn't matter what age somethings geared for tv shouldn't have such an effect on your child's life that they take their own!

You cant tell me they are... are the parents supose to lock their kid in their room with bubble wrapped corners and nothing that could possibly in any way hurt the kid?

Umm i had a bunk bed.... i think i tried hanging myself once a week and christ if my mom wasn't so quick i would of managed, (she got lucky :p )

actually... we have lots of large vines in the woods behind our house... we just to do that... just we never put it around our necks!

um again multiple times around the neck, i don't get it! I must of put more plastic bags over my head than there were in the mall on xmas eve! It seems that no matter how many times my parents told me not to do something cause it was dangerous and I did it and I always Survived.

That includes diving into shallow pools, Jumping / falling from 2 story tall trees, playing with sticks, throwing rocks, eating dirt, pretending to hang myself, playing dangerously on jungle jim, jumping down stairs, climbing cupboards, climbing fences, playing in construction sites, climbing shed, etc etc etc etc!

Bet she won't do that again

The thing is kids DO imitate what they see on TV, especially at that age. I remember when Power Rangers first came out you would see kids in the park playing imitating what they saw, practically having huge brawls but laughing about it after, or playing Ninja Turtles and doing the same thing. It's what kids do, it's just a shame this has been the result of it.

Depending on how the scene was portrayed in the cartoon, I don't think anyone is to blame, it's just a very sad accident.

      If its the devs fault you would think Unreal would help M$ take full advantage of Unreal and work with them to fix the performance issues. Otherwise they are catching unwarranted bad press.

      Thanks for the advice guys, I'll give my current GPU a clean and then run the benchmarks to see how similar it is. Hopefully a bit of a clean-out will help it last a bit longer.

      Microsoft making much needed change to Windows 11, 10 Patch Tuesday security updates by Sayan Sen Recently, Microsoft delivered its latest Defender patches for Windows 11 ISOs. These definitions are released from time to time alongside the general security updates available during Patch Tuesday. Speaking of Defender, the company has now announced another important change that affects how security updates are delivered to enterprise devices running Windows. According to a recent announcement, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint's endpoint detection and response (EDR) updates will no longer be bundled with the monthly Windows security updates or Patch Tuesdays. Instead the company is shifting delivery of these updates to Microsoft Update, bringing EDR servicing in line with several other Microsoft Defender components. If you recall, Microsoft last year moved PowerShell updates to Microsoft Update (MU) as well since it provides automatic updates for Microsoft products and services. Thus the move is intended to allow Microsoft to deliver EDR improvements and security enhancements independently of the OS's regular monthly update cycle; this should enable faster deployment of protection updates without requiring organizations to wait for the next Patch release. For those unfamiliar, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint's EDR capabilities are designed to help organizations detect, investigate, and respond to advanced threats across managed devices. Keeping these components updated is critical for maintaining protection against evolving attack techniques. The rollout has already began for Windows 10 devices in late May 2026 (last month) and Microsoft says it will gradually expand support to Windows 11 and the remaining supported Windows versions over the coming months. The company expects deployment across Windows 10 and Windows 11 to be completed by fall 2026 or around Q3 of this year. Once the transition is complete, EDR updates will be delivered through Microsoft Update using KB5005292, provided the required prerequisite updates have already been installed. Microsoft is also introducing a new Defender Update Service as part of the change. Following installation of the first update, devices will automatically create a new directory located at %ProgramData%\Microsoft\Microsoft Defender\Defender Update. Microsoft notes that restarts may occasionally be necessary in case of "rare" failure scenarios. For most organizations, the tech giant says no action will be required as long as Microsoft Update is already permitted within their update management strategy. Admins who rely on manually deployed update packages, however, will need to adjust their processes to ensure the new Defender update package is included. Microsoft also recommends reviewing internal documentation and notifying helpdesk and security operations teams about the updated delivery mechanism to avoid confusion during the transition.
